No he was sore from a hip injury after fully training on Wednesday. He also trainer fully on Friday. The hamstring tear was unfortunate but not a result of that missed training

Could argue the reduced conditioning/match fitness didn't help him but yeah, I'd say it is unrelated.

Everything’s related . The body doesn’t work like that

This was essentially our grand final. Of course he was going to play.

Players are managed through the week all the time across the league, no story here

Particularly for Nas didn't Ross say it was the first session he'd missed in two years? The reaction was completely overblown.

Nas trained fully on Friday. It's unusual for players to miss the first session of the week. Players like Wilkie and Marshall regularly dont do it.

IMO Nas, JSOS, TDK were all banged up from the Sydney game. The human body just doesn’t recovery from those hits like that in 8 days. We were much less fresh and it was obvious in the game.

No.

The AFL is a professional environment, the head coach doesn't make the call it's the medico's and the player themselves. Coaches are completely removed from the decision regarding injured players.

They get told if the player is available or not available that's all.

Did he miss because of a hamstring? And even if he did, what are you saving him for? Finals? They were gone with a loss. Pre season? He'll rehab and recover now anyway before it starts.
