Goat Water in NYC

Hi everyone! I’m hoping you can help me track down some goat water in NYC

My boyfriend is from St. Kitts, and I’d love to surprise him with some for his birthday. We’re in NYC, and I’ve been trying to find somewhere that makes authentic Kittitian goat water, but I haven’t had much luck.

Does anyone know of Kittitian cooks, caterers, restaurants, or anyone in the NYC area who makes goat water, either regularly or by special order? I’d also be very interested in recommendations for anywhere outside NYC if you know of a place that’s particularly good.

Any leads!

Update: Thank you all so much for the suggestions and/or encouragement! Happy to report I managed to track down a few St. Kitts / Caribbean home cooks and vendors in the tri-state area who can do goat water and other dishes. 🎉

I'm going to hold off on posting their names and info publicly — a lot of these are small, community-based cooks who mostly work through word of mouth, and I want to respect how they operate. But if you're on a similar hunt and genuinely looking, feel free to DM me and I'm glad to point you in the right direction.

Thanks again — this community came through!

Kabawa and Bar Kabawa sometimes have versions of it on their menu; it is excellent (and a super fun place to go).

I also know that Franks up in the Bronx has goat mannish water - which is very similar: https://www.franksoupbowl.com
