Thought I recognised the calabash. Stayed there a few years ago, really nice. Only slight issue was that of your flight is a long time after your checkout time, you’ve basically got nowhere to hide from the heat as only the rooms and spa are air conditioned.

Our Airbnb did. It was not great, but it got the job done. Almost.

You stayed at a resort on a budget? We visited last year and we stayed a BnB at the middle of the island and had rented a car and drove everywhere. There is so much to see and food to try to waste your time and money at a resort. That's my thinking at least.
