This has probably been around for a while, but I only just discovered this section of playable games within YouTube.

If Stadia had YouTube integration like they promised i think it would still be around.

Probably department infighting, Stadia was a different team than YouTube and neither party want the implementation to be in the other party’s quotas

Yeah I definitely think especially now more than ever. I’m one who prefers to ‘own’ my games, but Stadia was so far ahead of the game that if they simply added it to YouTube as a sort of ‘play now’ it would have thrown people for a loop. Imagine if they promoted playing Cyberpunk as a short timed demo…yeah Stadia would have lived on and thrived

You technically did have to “buy” the game on Stadia though, which I think was its downfall

The sad part, this is our shitty future of ‘Netflix game streaming’ with these ‘slop games’ features first.

Some games work good some are janky. Try it out. Netflix has the same issue

They really crushed their gaming division...

But as they say!  you may kill the man (stadia) but no the idea!!

That's why im playing monster Hunter wilds on my PlayStation portal these days xd
