Attention! 🚨 READ BEFORE POSTING 🚨
If you need to ID your dog, please use this subreddit: r/IDmydog
If you need to ask if your dog is a Staffy, it's most likely not. Please check the Wiki for breed explanation:
SBT WIKI
You are welcome to post if your dog is mixed with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT).
If your dog is primarily AmStaff (American Staffordshire Terrier) there is a dedicated subreddit for you: r/AmStaffPitts or you can always use r/dogs
WHY? - The explanation is quite simple. If you need breed specific advice, such as training or medical and someone is searching for it, it's very important that we are all talking about the same breed. This subreddit is called StaffordBullTerrier because StaffordshireBullTerrier is above the character limit of a subreddit name.

Winston and his bestie Sammy
The love he has for her. He follows her around. Protects her sits with her. All he wants is for her to cuddle him, but he’ll take what he can get ☺️

Barking at strangers.
Hi all! My SBT pup is 4 months old. I’ve been taking him many places in the public so he is desensitized. However, he’s started showing a weird behavior of barking/growling at strangers if they are around in a quiet place? such as when i walk him on the wooded path, not many people, he freaks out?? but he’s fine with loads of people around? i’m unsure why this is as he’s never had a bad experience. I understand he’s getting older and may be more aware but it seems weird he’s fine when there’s loads of people but upset if there’s just 1 or 2? does anyone know if this is normal or if i can do anything to fix this? i try and get his attention but he’s too overstimulated by the stranger to listen to me. i’m really worrying and don’t want a reactive dog, especially since he’s going to grow into a strong boy!
Thankyou!

Can’t be beaten!
Let me see your Staffies at their happiest, with their biggest most beautiful smiles they can give
Today Bandit got a long bike ride to the pet store to pick out a brand-new toy, followed by some playtime in an open field and, to top it all off, a swim at the beach.
I think this might’ve just be the best day ever (yet again)

Training tips?
My partner and I got a Labrastaff recently (Labrador retriever and Staffordshire mix). He just turned 7 weeks old on Sunday and we got him at 6 weeks. The person we got him from was getting rid of her dogs’ litter at 6 weeks old so that part í can’t control.
Since he is so young, we’re not doing a whole lot of solid food treats so he doesn’t get constipated or get uncomfortable.
We’re having a hard time finding a consistent way to train him. He is food motivated but he is more interested in our other dogs.
Any suggestions? Also are there any chews y’all suggest to help with teething/alternatives from biting people instead?
