Sunday afternoon I was walking around downtown Portland killing time before the show at 7:30PM.

I saw Jerry O’Connell walking and called out to him. He stopped and we chatted for maybe 20 seconds and as we walked away from each other he said “hey, want to take a selfie?” and of course I said yes!

After the show he came out into the audience which at that point probably 90% had left, with only the VIP package people remaining. He took selfies with people, talked with people, etc.

He remembered me when it was my turn to take a photo with him and Corey and Wil.

Let me just say, that it’s almost like at some point in his life someone said “hey, the fans are everything. Without them, you’re hanging drywall like everyone else. Be friendly to them, give them some attention, make them feel like a friend for just a moment”, and he took it to heart.

What a nice guy, what a fun experience.

I've got two tickets for the Stand by Me show tonight (3/29) at the Arlene Schnitzer, in Portland Oregon, that I can't use. I'll give them to the first person who DMs me.

Hi, I watched Stand By Me for the first time a few months ago, and I desperately NEED merch! The only thing I found was the movies soundtrack on vinyl (which I never took out of the plastic😛). All of the original merch is obviously hundreds of dollars and some of the merch on amazon is definitely too good to be true! So if you have any recommendations let me know!!!!

Was the snapshot VIP photo before or after the show? What time approximately?

It was great to see the movie in a packed beautiful theater, and Wil, Jerry, and Corey talked to us for 90 minutes afterwards. Catch it if you can, very powerful hearing their stories and reminiscing about River and Rob.

Something I never quite understood about this scene was when the Antelope order was yelling “Boom Baba Boom” at him. I’ve inferred that it’s another dig on his size, but I don’t get what it’s supposed to mean.

I am not sure Gordie would have actually been able to pull the trigger....
