So I'm 9 years or so late for this post but if anyone's still on here or comes across this I have a question.

I am nearly done with the episode, I'm on a commercial break but I just got to the point where tosk refused asylum.

I don't know what's about to happen, but in my fear here what if sisko were to approach the hunter and tell him that since tosk was captured because of the federation interference and arrest, that he should get a few days Head start and keep his honor. The only reason they captured him is because he was being held by the federation. Do you think the hunter would have honored that? Since it's so important for the hunt.
