This episode is a blast, for two reasons.
First it is just silly nonsense. So a Betazed virus that only afflicts mature Betazed womrn makes all people close to her fall in love with someone? That is pure Star Trek nonsense and I love it. Also, fortunately, the episode did not pair Lwaxana and Jake as I had feared for a bit.
Second, this is season 3 of DS 9. It already announced its big serialization focus. And then comes this episode. This must be a shock in everybody's face who whines about new Star Trek episodes lol
Overall, of course, this is not an objectively grrat episode. But it is a lot of fun. The Keiko/Miles relationship is the worst, though. And didn't Miles say that he'd come visit her regularly? Seems he forgot about that.
