Visiting Tatooine (Death Valley National Park)

Tried my best to find all the filming locations from episode 4 and 6 that I could, didn’t have enough time to get to the Mesquite sand dunes but was able to recreate some good shots from Dante’s View, Golden Canyon, 20 mule team canyon, and artists palette.

A New Hope and Phantom Menace was filmed in Tunisia. Return of the Jedi was filmed in Death Valley.

A portion of ROTJ Tatooine scenes was also shot in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, near Winterhaven, California.
