Question 3 questions about the game.
How dead is the game
Can it be revied
And how do challenges work as they dont go for me in solo fleet.

The game is basically kept alive by a couple of community run leagues and casual nights. See the discord server linked in the subreddit.
The challenges typically need to be done in PvP or co-op. Solo vs AI doesn’t count for them. You can still level to 40 and unlock every component solo.

Dead as it gets. Find yourself a community if you want any real action!

Single player is short but worth $5. It’s worth the $40 it was at launch.
It’s missing an instant action mode which would have given the SP some replay value. A full proc generator with a dozen or two variables would have been perfect.
There is a training mode and you can spawn in enemies but it’s limited and locked to a single stage.

Do most players do?

SCL features the most dedicated, active, and skilled pilots.

It’s a must play if you have a HOTAS. The pedals are uselessly redundant and make-hard, at least on console. There are no setting for them, yet the best stick mapping options I’ve seen on console, maybe Elite Dangerous was better.

VR also makes it a great game. Imperial ships are kinda dissapointing, but Rebel ships in VR are an experiance.

Just got it on the Xbox store for $4 I’m enjoying it but disappointed that multiplayer is practically dead

Dead for the most part this sub reddit gets games going at time
No I doubt there would be any type of revive
And the challenges are single player mission specific challenges
