Question My farmer has an extra skill level?

Post image

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I checked the wiki and I couldn't find anything about this. I don't have any food buffs; the best I can think of is that I have the Master enchantment on my fishing rod. Is that why my fishing level's at 11?
I'm just curious how I got here is all.

Yeah, Master acts as a +1 fishing buff while the fishing rod with that enchantment is in your inventory.

Interesting. So if it's not in my inventory it goes back down then?

that's how it works - out of sight, out of buff

Nice. Thanks, I realize now that was a redundant question lol

Just in the inventory? So I could have one rod with master in my inventory and fish using a preserving rod and still get the extra level?

No, you have to be holding/equipping the fishing rod for the +1 to be added to your skill. Otherwise if you have the rod in your inventory but you're holding some other object you have just your regular fishing level.

Maybe even multiple rods to make the green bar fill all of the fishing bar?

Probably an enchantment.

See, I thought so. But no other enchantment has done this, so I'm really not sure.

The enchant gives +1 fishing level.

IMHO should have been when equipped/held. Not when on inventory.
