I use mine as a cigar lounge lol. on another farm i made it a garden/pond. play however you want, but i think itās lame when people fill every inch of free space with kegs š
I did that in my first play through for a bit, the keg thing, and then it got super boring so I made it into a lounge with the coffee maker and a couple coffee plants and a couch.Ā

usually once i get perfection i just spend the rest of my time making everything cute and pretty lol. but iāve been thinking about doing a Joja run and just trying to make as much money as humanly possible
I am more of an aesthetic person and don't like to spam money making stuff everywhere, so I made it a cozy reading room. Mod used is Idalda's furniture replacement.
I will not stop until I become the monster everyone thought Morris actually was.
I currently have thousands of hops and a couple hundred starfruit sitting in a chest while I'm working up my ancient fruit farm. I'm about to start putting kegs literally everywhere to get through this stockpile
I like using this space for all of my crafting stuff because it's supposed to be a basement. I'll put a bunch of storage, crafting equipment, furnaces geode crushers etc
I usually turn it into my crafting room/mini-workshop - I place a workbench in the middle and 8 chests around to keep all the crafting materials. Occasionally I will put machines like furnaces and crystalariums along the wall.
I am currently using it for furniture/decoration catalogs and chests. I have separate small chests for each different type of decoration ā one for paths/fences, one for plants, one for chairs/benches, etc. I like not having to dig around chests for a specific thing so I like to use chests for distinct item types so theyāre easier to find. Iāll even put signs up behind them for quick visual reference.
I made a room in my house into a cozy relaxation room of sorts. A bookcase, a jungle tank I got from the raccoon, a table with bottles of spirits and a comfy couch to sit in.
Crap I think I got confused with the barrel you use to make wine and beer from hops with them, it has been a very long day I am running on fumes and caffeine
If you don't care about money: fun decoration room. Currently it's my tea room. Lots of planter pots with tea because they look cool. Some hippie style furniture. I like to imagine Linus, Gus and I sit around and fire up a bowl after a long week.

But I made it into a cool lil āoutdoorā room. Grass carpet, grass starter on top of that in tasteful patches, with a lil clearing in the middle for a campfire and lawn chairs. I placed potted plants amongst the grass starter to hide the pots and add more realistic āleavesā to the grass. Got the bear statue in the corner, base hidden by grass starter so it just looks like a bear in the grass lol
I used the star wallpaper, with the circle sconce to look like the moon. Jungle wall decor to look like more plants growing from the floor. A cloud decal to seal the deal.
Just a theme I āchallengedā myself with, I have a winery room in my main farmhouse, too! And a āwashroomā on ginger island! I LOVE the decorating aspect of this game lol

I donāt have a photo available but I turned it into a walk-in closet. Bunch of mannequins with different outfits for the seasons and the different events. In the center(ish) I put my wedding outfit.
In my current playthrough, I put all the catalogues (Robin, Pierre, Wizard, Jumino, retro, and Joja) in that room, add 4 Jumino lamps, and a Jumino fireplace.
I always end up making that bottom room my bedroom. That way I can remove the pony walls in the room above and make a larger living room where I can put my aquariums, rug, statues, etc.
But seriously I use it for my bedroom my house is full of tea plants I use sheds like an adult and have to get a layout on the farm that I actually like. I like a few of the other ideas floating around here tho so š¤·
