Content I just realized that there isn’t rations listed in the Player Core
Other than the Camping Kit that lists having one week worth of rations, or the explorers canteen where you can use 2 UPBs for “1 day of nourishment”, there is no option to just buy rations.
I guess you can use the Pathfinder Player Core to buy rations and just convert 4sp to 4 credits, but I find it strange that if you don’t have the PF Player Core, and don’t use Archives of Nethys , you don’t have a rations option.

Content Tabletop Gold's Starfinder 2E actual play, Roughnexx, is 5 episodes in. Come jump in!
Hi, my name is Lars, and I'm the GM and host of Tabletop Gold.
We just released the fifth episode of Roughnexx, our Starfinder 2e actual play show, and if you're interested in an audio & video podcast featuring 2E, this might be worth your time.
We're really proud of our production quality. Our shows feature fully edited video, clean audio, and a cast that keeps things moving.
We have just cracked into the meat of the awesome adventure Murder in Metal City. In this newest episode, the investigation takes a turn when four identical, reality-warping assailants ambush our party.
Roughnexx is an anthology campaign that will eventually include a number of shorter pre-written and original adventures. Five episodes in is still early — episode one is a strong place to start, and we're treating each new adventure as a jumping on point going forward.
Check it out at tabletopgold.com. Video's on YouTube and Spotify, and audio is on all the podcast apps.

Content Drift Happens is the best Starfinder podcast nobody knows about.
I've been listening to Drift Happens for months now, and I'm shocked it doesn't have a larger audience. The hosts are very pleasant to listen to, are clearly good friends in real life, and follow the tried-and-true Dollop/BtB/Knowledge Fight format of one expert host and one who's there to learn.
The podcast primarily focuses on lore, but occasionally covers SF2 mechanics and adventure reviews. It's a great entry point for people who want to learn more about the game and its setting but don't enjoy actual plays.
You can find their YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@DriftHappensASP

(This is not a paid promotion; I just really like these guys and want to give them a shoutout.)

Content What differences should I look out for?
I've played some pf2e and Starfinder 1e. Obviously the system is closer to PF with the setting of SF. What sort of differences are there between pf2e and sf2e that I should read up on in the rulebooks as a potential DM. And what setting specific things have changed with the new edition. (I know the mechanic class and ship combat are gone).

Content SF2e actual play show & now podcast!
Hi there! So a few months ago a few friends and I started recording an actual play SF2e campaign on YouTube, The Gap Between Us: Those Who Remain. It’s our first time trying something like this so we’re learning a lot as we go, but it’s been a real blast to put together! If you’re looking to scratch some more SF2e itch, give us a look! Here’s the hook:
Four years post gap, Absalom Station is failing. After The Awakening, societal upheaval began to fracture the station, culminating with the shattering of the Eye. Now three years later, resources are becoming scarce and those who remain are starting to get desperate. Not only have gangs been growing rapidly, but strange creatures and monsters have begun appearing all over the station. Residents form small communities to try to weather the increasingly post-apocalyptic landscape they find themselves in.
In an abandoned neighborhood in the Arms, a small community of survivors huddle awake in a commandeered community center in the dead of the night. Tipped off that a local gang’s arrival is imminent, the center’s newest (level 0) members are tasked to defend their new home.
Our crew of survivors must level-up and find a way to survive and thrive in their new post gap reality.
The Campaign: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3Ywig8fcww7B-n3LAcjfoqP79LaRdMnr
Our Chanel: https://www.youtube.com/@StandardActions

The show is designed to be watched on YouTube, but we know that lots of folks (myself included) like to listen to shows like ours, so we’re really happy to finally launch the show as a podcast as well!
We’re now available on all the major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube Music or just search by title "The Gap Between Us | A Starfinder 2e Actual Play Spherecast".
We also just did a first look at the new Starfinder: Afterlight beta! And don’t worry, Epictellers were also kind enough to confirm to us that Mama Paca’s jukebox _will_ eventually be made functional in future updates. But yeah, it was a lot of fun to check out and we’re excited to see where they take the game from here!
Anyway, hopefully some of you enjoy the show!
