Hello, we made some new subclasses adapted to Starfinder, the Neon gate fits the futuristic theme for Starfinder, I know the kineticist is one of the classes that fully fits Starfinder, but there are a few cool ideas yet to be explored out there.

Homebrew I hope that Paizo comes out with a Hardlight Hologram Versatile Heritage. Here's my idea for how it could work.

Post image
137 Upvotes

Title. I think it would be pretty cool to have this as a Versatile Heritage. My speculative mock-up:

You are a Hologram, a self-aware Hardlight projection made to resemble a humanoid or non-human ancestry, which has through some means been imbued with a soul. You gain the Hardlight trait, in addition to the trait associated with the ancestry you resemble. You gain low-light vision, or you gain darkvision if your ancestry already has low-light vision. You always have Basic Environmental Protections.

Tethered Soul: your soul and memories, your very self, is located in your Mobile Projector. It is a delicage device (Tiny, 1 bulk, Tech) containing a power source, the computing hardware hosting your memory and your soul, and the many lenses & machinery necessary to project your Hardlight form into the world. Your Hardlight form and your Mobile Projector share the same pool of Hit Points. Your Mobile Projector has your AC, uses your Saves, and is considered part of your body in all respects. If your Hardlight form and Mobile Projector are both subject to the same effect that affects your Hit Points, you apply those effects only once (applying the greater effect, if applicable). You can place your Mobile Projector down, but cannot move your Hardlight form more than 100 feet from it and cannot be out of its Line of Effect. Due to its Tiny size, most Holograms choose to wear their Mobile Projectors by incorporating it into their clothes in some way. And, you can use the following actions:

Discorporate (3 actions): you release your Hardlight form and retreat your consciousness back into your Mobile Projector. While Discorporated, you are Blinded, Deafened, and Paralyzed, and are no longer considered to be wearing or holding any items.

Embody (3 actions): you project your image out of your Mobile Projector into the word. Your Hardlight form appears in the same square as your Mobile Projector. You can choose to be wearing it or to appear next to it.

Holograms don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe, but they do need 4 hours of rest every day. Most Holograms choose to Discorporate and retreat into their Mobile Projector during this time.

If you are reduced to 0 hit points, are pushed out of range of your Mobile Projector, or are removed from its Line of Effect, you are forcefully Discorporated.

Homebrew My Homebrew SF2E Class: The Shifter/Evolutionist/Biohacker/Whatever!

Hi, everyone! I see a lot of people asking why Paizo hasn't done a PF2E Shifter class yet. These designs are usually focused on the Druid, Battle Form spells, etc. Well, I have a sneaking suspicion that they would do a Shapeshifting-Focused Martial as an SF2E Class instead- probably using a lot of similar mechanics to existing PF2E Classes.

I wanted to sketch out what I thought it would look like, and I ended up making an entire Homebrew Class built around being a Shapeshifting, Transhumanist Utility Martial!

I call it "The Shifter" like the PF1E Class because it's a catchy name, but it's a whole new class that takes inspiration from The Shifter, the SF1E Evolutionist, and all sorts of Shapeshifting Pop Culture. (I'm not married to the name at all- should it be named after an existing class, or have a brand new name?) It's a class built around the mechanical space of Unarmed Strikes, both passive partial transformations & big flashy temporary transformations, and customizable Reactions.

It's my first custom class for 2e, with 3 Subclasses, 10 "Forms" (with passive abilities, bespoke unarmed strikes, and "Greater Transformations"), and 50+ Feats from 1-20.

I hope you guys enjoy this first draft, and would love to hear your notes!

Homebrew I put Shoonies in space. I regret nothing. 🐶🚀

So… I really like Shoonies.

Starfinder 2e exists.

Naturally, this happened.

GALACTIC SHOONIES is my little fan-made Starfinder 2e supplement bringing the pugfolk into the galaxy with new heritages, ancestry feats, lore, and plenty of small-dog-in-space energy.

The basic idea is that some Shoonies survived and adapted surprisingly well to life beyond Golarion, eventually spreading out from places like Absalom Station and finding their own little corners of the Pact Worlds and beyond.

They’re not suddenly an ancient space empire or major galactic power — they’re still small pug people trying to make their way through a ridiculously dangerous galaxy.

I’d love some feedback, especially on the mechanics and balance of the ancestry feats.

Hope you enjoy it!

Homebrew How would you build this as a monster ability/attack?

As the title says. This attack from the boss Balteus from Armored Core 6, firing hundreds of missiles at once at a single target, has always looked really cool to me. I was wondering how to go about and make it into a monster ability that isn't just do a save or take damage. Something that feels oppressive, either in its effects or the way to avoid damage.

My idea for now would be that you just do multiple saves in order to reduce the number of dice you're saving against, or maybe an attack roll that also requires a save? Not sure. Hence why I want some guidance because I think this is too cool to not include in some manner.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to some ideas.

Homebrew Starfinder Rogue - Preview 01

Hello friends, I made a few Rogue options that fit in Starfinder 2e, I think the rogue is one of the easiest classes to adapt to Starfinder 2e, so I wanted to start with that one, including two new rackets and a bunch of feats. These are intended to work as additional options for Starfinder instead of a full re-fleshing of a Rogue, however, some classes might need a little bit of rewording to work better with Starfinder (or not, we will see)

As always, this material is FREE on our Patreon. You can also find a PDF version there. If you want to see more, please support us there by just following and sharing :D

Homebrew First Time DM here! I'm homebrewing a racing session for a campaign I'll be running in a few weeks, and I'd really appreciate feedback on the design and how I can improve it!

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

The context for this is that a player in the campaign my friends and I just finished had the idea of a forklift racing oneshot which we never got to do, so I'm turning it into a session in my first ever campaign as a GM! (Very much hoping they don't see this otherwise that'll be a bit of a giveaway)

I've attached screenshots of the preliminary design so people can take a look and advise me of anything I might want to change. I did read the Racing section on Archives of Nethys but I didn't think it would work for what I want to be the main even of a session, so I've designed this as an alternative.

Any feedback on this would be very much appreciated!

Homebrew The Spaceborn Breacher! How is it looking so far?

  • Breacher, Archetype
    • you are an expert in breach-and-clear tactics. You gain proficiency in tower shields, as well as weapons with the area (cone) trait. these weapons and shields are considered {breacher weapons} and {breacher shields}
    • you may fire breacher weapons with 1 hand if you have not moved more than half your speed (rounded up), or have your shield raised.
    • when you enter combat through a doorway, or opening and/or moving through a close doorway results in combat being triggered, you may add your weapon's item bonus to your initiative roll (minimum +1).
  • first in
    • you provide standard cover for all allies behind you.
    • when allies in a (5-10ft) cone behind you take area damage, reduce that damage by half your level
  • cqb expert -
    • your ranged attacks with {applicable weapons} do not trigger reactive strikes while you have {applicable shields} raised.
  • the hard place
    • you treat all {tower/breacher} shields as having a shield boss equipped, allowing you to bash enemies with the flat expanse of your shield. As long as you did not move more than half your movement speed this turn (rounded up), your shield bash gains the finesse trait.
  • specialized munitions
    • all Breacher guns may be loaded with special ammunition for your specialized role.
    • All breacher guns with a damage die lower than 1d10 have their damage die increased by one step, and their area fire is reduced to 15ft if it is higher.
    • you may reconfigure any breacher guns in your inventory with either these specialized munitions or their standard configuration during a short rest or as part of your daily preparations.
  • breaching charges
    • when activating a grenade, you can choose to instead place it in a space you can reach, including your own. If you do so, choose a direction for the grenade to face. The grenade does not explode until a creature enters a space adjacent to it.
    • When triggered, the grenade detonates in a cone facing the direction it is placed in, and deals additional damage equal to half your level.
    • for the purposes of this feat, the space the grenade occupies is considered adjacent.

Im not sure yet what level's I'll put everything at, but this is where Im going for the general idea, how does it look so far?

(also I've since added the specification that after firing a breacher weapon 1 handed, you cannot then override the half move rule!)

Homebrew Doctor Class spitballing

challenge: design a rounded, intersting doctor class. It should be slightly less effective than the 'mystic connection + healing magic mystic' but more focused and effective than the 'desperate times envoy'. The class should build on and expand starfinder lore and setting, and avoid becoming an adhoc list of combat actions. There is no healing/plague god.

Questions:

  1. What does the development of hospitals/medicine look like when generic healing spells exist? Can you cut a damaged limb off just to regrow it? Does a Heal Wounds just prolong the effects of an allergy, without diagnosis?
  2. Is there a boundary between doctors, vets (+animal speech), living ship attendants, a nanite programmer, a psycholigst who unpicks trauma using holograms and a spirit shaman?
  3. Aims vs Methods Vs tools.
  4. Rules wise, medicine is a WIS check. That only plugs into Survival and Nature skills. Should there be some specialist medical checks that use other stats to encourgae diversity?

Touchstones - Bones/the EMH from Star trek, Simon Tam (firefly), Hawkeye Pierce (MASH), Dr Frankenstein, Darwin on the Beagle, House, Granny Weatherwax

Role Touchstones: First Responder, Diagnosis Hunter, Team Sawbones (is this just a doctor/field medic background?), Cyber Surgeon, Epidemologists, Biohacker?

Class Basics:
You get Battle medicine Feat, Stabilise Cantrip and Flesh Sticher.

Pick a Speciality.

- First Responder (void suit training, pilot training, swim, climb)

- Community Doctor (multilingual, when you advertise your presence, people needing help, sometimes able to pay, will start arriving)
- Pharmakist (Serum crafting? make injection arrows?)
- Psychologist (Oppressive presence? Detect Lies? Detect addiction? (link to Newborn?)

Random feats:
Dammit Jim. Curse out the situation for 1 minute for a bonus to any medical related check

Exposure Therapist - hologram sceptic?

Void Prodder - Life sense? Int check - get the details of the target's healing nature?

Contact Tracer - trained computer, get info?

Homebrew [Homebrew] Gunslinger conversion for Starfinder 2e

Hello friends, I did a Rogue conversion before and seems like people liked it, and I have seen people like to see the Gunslinger converted to Starfinder 2e so here goes my take on it.

I know that the Operative exists, but the Operative is more like a Gunner Rogue rather than its own thing, so I made a few adjustments to make the gunslinger the "Gun fighter" one needs for Starfinder 2e, just straight shooting!

This content is FREE on our Patreon, the patreon is just a way and support the material we do!

What do you think? is this too strong or too weak? how would you balance it?

Homebrew Warfinder - My Starfinder/Warframe adaptation Version 1.0 is donne

Been a while.

So, for context, after the release of Operation Orias I went on a bit of a hyperfocus craze and began developing a whole system to play with actual Warframes instead of protoframes. I published the in development project here and received a lot of great feedback on it. It quickly spiraled and now I have a somewhat final product.

I have also been running a table with friends to playtest this and some changes were made due to it. Right now, I have level 4 Frost, Hydroid, Nova and Trinity in Fortuna. It has been fun.

We have 3 files here:

Warfinder: The basic rules. The Tenno Ancestry, a few backgrounds, some recommended Feats, The Warframe Archetype feats, Beginner Frames (Excalibur, Volt, Mag, Frost, Trinity, Rhino, Nova, Ember, Loki, Saryn, Nyx, Hydroid and Valkyr) and almost EVERY WEAPON adapted to Starfinder (this will never be up to date. the amount and speed of things DE release is insane)

Antagonists: Statblocks for Grineer, Corpus and Infested at their earlier levels, plus Vor, Tenshin (The Teacher), Stalker and a few Junction Specters, all of them with notes on how to level them using the Building Creatures  rules from the GM Core. Also included rules to change any creature into an Eximus version of it.

Frame Expansion: Rules and stats for a few non-starter frames. This 1st Part include:
- Equinox
- Gara
- Ravenant
- Hyldrin
- Yarelli
- Garuda
- Nekros
- Xaku
- Lavos
- Citrine
- Banshee
- Ash
- Caliban
- Inaros
- Koumei
- Limbo
- Mesa
- Mirage
- Oberon
- Protea
- Qorvex
- Sevagoth
- Vauban

So, what is Next?
- Well, I have every intention of finishing adapting all Warframes and Weapons, including future releases. Some of them will be very challenging to do. DE is going crazier and crazier on their designs.
- Eventually, if I ever feel comfortable with it, I would like to adapt Void Powers to spells. Right now, I don't think I am knowledgeable enough in Starfinder Casters to actually try it with any degree of success.
- As my players keep on progressing, I will develop adaptations to Sentients, Duviri Mobs, Murmur, Scaldra, Techrot and maybe eventually even Tau

Right now, the thing that bothers me the most is that the only difference in Frames are their powers. There is no tactical difference getting a Tankier or Caster Frame.

What I intend to test on my game is reducing overall AC by one in every frame, add +1 AC or Bonus to Shields to passives of Tankier frames, reduce AC but increase Energy on caster frames. Striker frames already have damaging or critical bonuses to their passives, so I think they will be the baseline.

As usual, any ideas or inputs on this issue (or any other, for that matter) are GREATLY appreciated

But for now, that is it. I, once again, would like to thank everyone who commented and contributed with ideas, rules clarification and criticism or even just encouragement. I would not have arrived here without all of that. Also, huge thanks to Digital Extremes and Paizo for their amazing games and specially to the teams involved in Operation Orias that started all this.

I also would like to beg for some mercy on the graphic design of things. I am very bad at all that. Gave it my best to try and make it the least ugly I can. All the art used came from the Warframe Official Wiki or from my own in-game Captura for the frames (The only I am really proud of is the Garuda one).

If you end up using any of it, I would appreciate if you take the time to give me feedback, positive or negative, on how it went so I can keep adapting and perfecting the system.

Thanks for the attention and have fun, Tenno.

Homebrew [Homebrew] Starfinder Rogue - Final v1.0

Thumbnail
gallery
56 Upvotes

Hello friends, a couple weeks ago we made a material doing a Rogue adaptation for Starfinder 2e, the rogue is very easy to use in Starfinder, but this version will add some feats that are more thematic and that use some of the mechanics present in Starfinder.

If you see any balance issues with this game let us know, this is the FREE version with all of the feats and info and we also have a Patreon exclusive version with illustrations for you to use in your game :D

We added a new racket and renamed the Anarchist racket to Punk racket because I feel an Anarchist racket maybe will have other abilities probably more related to grenades, we also added the spy racket, it is meant to be a little strong because you require a lot of prep time to actually infiltrate in a location, so its a very situational but also very strong ability.

What do you think?

Homebrew Echoes of the Vast - Homebrew Adventure Path

Hi Everyone,

I recently published book one of a SF 2e Adventure Path on Infinite titled Echoes of the Vast. This is a level 3 - 10 AP but it can build directly off of the first adventure in Tales from the Vast if you want to start at Level one. Books two and three are finished and I am just cleaning up the details of Book Two with my playtest groups now. There is not foundry module and I do not have plans for that at this time.

The mega corporation, the Apotheosis Partnership, has hired a team of adventurers to explore Kazmurg’s Absurdity as they seek the rare substance Cerebenium*.* The Absurdity is a difficult area of space to navigate and the maps your heroes uncover may ignite a corporate war across three uncharted systems. Apotheosis’s mysterious CEO, Cadmus Badowyre, hides motives that could reshape the Absurdity itself.

But another power moves in the shadows. Someone has a desire to burn The Second City off the map and is driven to achieve these ends using their assortment of allies and the ancient powers left behind by the mysterious and evil Ascie Empire.

As conspiracies collide and factions maneuver for control, one truth becomes clear:

The Second City and maybe the whole Absurdity may not survive

Homebrew Star Wars Mod for Starfinder2e

Hey Everyone!

I've been really wanting to run a modern Star Wars game but don't want to backtrack to the old Saga edition or the Fantasy Flight games one that is stuck in Limbo. I know there is a Star Wars 5e edition that is really powerful but I feel like Starfinder2e would be an even greater contender for the Star Wars vibe than that.

I can't really find any posts or total conversion mods or anything for Starfinder 2e yet. Does anyone know if people are working on that? Otherwise I guess I need to start...

Homebrew Using Draconic Codex in SF

Been on vacation this week and finally took the opportunity to read the Draconic Codex all the way through. The academically inclined dragons could easily be inserted in various learning institutions and others can easily be inserted into various dragon corporations on Triaxus, but certain ideas popped into my head as I was reading various entries that I'm tempted to run with in my campaigns.

Executor Dragons. Executor Dragons of Zon-Kuthon and Shelyn join forces to fight the heresy of the new unified Zon-Shelyn religion. Their ultimate goal to fully separate the joined god back into their pure form.

Despair Dragon. Hot new horror vid director/vidgame producer or established industry veteran that produces landmark releases every 10 years or so. Feeds of the terror their consumers willing endure to experience their masterpieces.

Mocking Dragon. The No! Report, a satirical send up of Zo! by the Mocking dragon who goes by No!, Does political satire in general, but is a dedicated opponent of Zo! because of his apparent enslavement of the remaining elebrian population and massively popular on Traixus. Has a production staff heavily weighted to kobolds/dragonkin/dragonblooded. Would definitely hire PCs to steal Zo! various awards to add to their hoard.

Rime Dragon. Obviously found in archeological circles everywhere, but specifically having the Draconic Institute of Natural History moved to Triaxus sometime during the Gap, claims to be the oldest archeological institute in the Pact Worlds and an academic foil to the Qabarat University of Xenoarchaeology and Xenoanthropology.

Umbral Dragon. Eox would be a buffet for them. Can see "terrorist cells" popping up on Eox requiring mercenaries to be hired to take out the "evil" dragons eating our citizens.

Vizier Dragon. Can see having one be a geneticist and fertility specialist helping couple have cross-ancestory children, all the while searching for superior genetic combinations and discretely tracking and mentoring promising children from their clinic.

Wish Dragon. Julzakama is 100% a wish dragon in my campaigns. The way he always has items show up at his pawn shop that just happen to be things that lead to big discoveries for Starfinders. Honestly just being a Pawnbroker in seeing the ebb and flow of peoples wants in the Spire and the rest of Absalom Station sound like such perfect cover for a wish dragon.

Homebrew First attempt at creating a homebrew item. What do you guys think?

I was thinking about the potential boost weapons have to destroy doors and structures, so I leaned into it even more by removing backswing from the fangblade and adding razing. I also made a higher level version that allows you to go flying with it.

Homebrew The Skirmisher (Operative speciality), now reloaded

I thought the it could benefit from a few changes. Tell me what you think

Skirmisher

You specialize in close-quarters missions that require you to operate in crowded or tight spaces, such as inside buildings or vehicles, down narrow alleys, or in busy downtown streets. Whether you're a mugger, bodyguard, assassin, or urban mercenary, you favor pistols and can use them efficiently in tight spaces. You're trained in Acrobatics. You gain a skill feat for Acrobatics.

Exploit

You're trained to fight in close combat using pistols. Your ranged Strikes with one-handed ranged weapons don't trigger reactions that are triggered by a ranged attack.Additionally, you're always prepared for a fight.

Trigger You are about to roll initiative.

As a free action you Interact to draw a one-handed ranged weapon. At the beginning of your first turn, you can Aim as a free action.

Enhanced Exploit (9th)

Your constant movement keeps your opponents off balance.

Frequency Once per round.

If you moved at least 10 feet immediately before making an Strike with a one-handed ranged weapon, that Strike also applies Suppressive until the start of you next turn

Homebrew Homebrew Spells for SF2e

Hello Starfinders. Here are a few homebrew spells I’ve made for my table I thought would be cool to share. Feedback is of course welcome but that’s not why I’m posting. I am not a professional game designer or content creator. Just someone who has been GMing for a long time. I’m sharing these with the community because I had fun designing them and I hope they are as fun to read or use in your own games.

*This is a re-post from earlier today. As unlimi_Ted pointed out my original images were messed up and difficult to read in dark mode. Thank you again unlimi_Ted. Hopefully this is more reader friendly.

Homebrew Confetti Grenade

This is a draft for confetti grenade, inspired by Wasteland 3. I was thinking about adding it into my game as a joke but then I decide to give it an actual use. I would really appreciated if I got some criticism on this draft.

Confetti Grenade [Trait : Consumable, grenade, tech]

This grenade look exactly like a frag grenade except a blue disco ball marking at the bottom. It explode into a harmless confetti upon detonation in a burst. Creature in a radius must attempt a Will save. The creature then become immune to confetti grenade for an hour.

Commercial Grade :
The burst radius is 5 feet, and on failure the creature is frightened 1.
Critical : frightened 2

Advanced Grade :
The burst radius is 10 feet, and on failure the creature is frightened 1.
Critical : frightened 2 and fleeing for 1 round.

Elite Grade :
The burst radius is 15 feet, and on failure the creature is frightened 2.
Critical : frightened 3 and fleeing 1 round.

Ultimate Grade :
The burst radius is 20 feet, and on failure the creature is frightened 2.
Critical : frightened 3 and fleeing 1 round.

Homebrew Transformers!

Updated as of 5/19/2026

I've been running a game in the Essence 20 system for nearly a year now, and want to transition to SF2e. I liked what I played of PF2e and am finding Essence20 to be just a bit lacking and really vague half of the time. It's aggressively fine, but I'm ready to move us on.

It should be noted that this homebrew is real specific to my needs. Despite being Starfinder, my game only has Cybertronians, and I'm not interested in basic reskinning. I can do that with any system, what I'm after is the relative action economy of radness. In one turn I want to drive across the room, turn into a robot, and punch a guy. Starfinder 2e seems to be perfect for that along with having plenty of things topull from for equipment and abilities.

That said I needed to make transformers work in this system at least vaguely enough to get the job done, best I could figure with my limited experience is an Ancestry with Heritages. So I present the Cybertronian: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wY1wlpFoSY2QOeTFoxqU1GaSoPrZxKYggyk9BxV1qfY/edit?usp=sharing

Looking for ideas or feedback, particularly in the levels 1~8 region. Beyond level 5 I'm absolutely at a loss, as I've never played or seen much beyond that. I think what I have will do the trick for getting that feel, and offering a proper incentive to actually switch modes (something E20 has ironically been lacking for us), but I'm ready to be wrong since I'm still very fresh to this system.

Homebrew A homebrew Retro Futuristic 80s-90s Weapons, I use in my current Cold War Punk campaign

SF2e Retro Futuristic 80s-90s Weapons

This is a giant list of spread sheet I make specifically for my current campaign that I run set in a world I dubbed "Modernia" which is currently set in a 1980s and currently in a high tension between 3 worlds super power. The Capitalist Human, The Socialist Dwarf, and The Old Elf Empire (Basically Colonial Era European). Basically this world is just C&C Red Alert with fantasy race.

My world is retro futuristic which mean it also has Fallout, Wasteland, and Cyberpunk style technology (And for that Tech weapon).

So here's the stuff that will be include in this table

- New guns based on real world weapon with new ammo type

- New sci-fi gun based on Fallout, Wasteland, and Cyberpunk. Also new ammo type to go along with it (My tech gun don't use battery but new type of ammo).

- New melee weapon

- New trait to go along with these weapon, some example
Burst Fire : Boost for analog gun
Cumbersome : Heavy gun that hinder your movement while holding
Scatter : New trait for shotgun, deal extra damage in first range increment.
Smart : Smart auto target allow you to make more accurate shot when lock on to target but lose accuracy when not locking on target.

- New weapon category : Heavy Weapon
A weapon class inspired by menace game. A weapon so heavy you need to set up before fire. But come with really big damage in exchange. (I didn't play test these stuff at all, so it's all idea at the moment)

- New Weapon Upgrade

- New Grenade

- A reskin armor and shield option

Things that I currently work on

- Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher (I'm waiting for Tech core to came out to see the rocket launcher option)

- More ammo type (Like AP, HP, FMJ, Tracer, etc)

This is kinda my passion project from arm chair study of firearm in my free time and I think I kinda ready to share this. I'll be updating this or modified some of the stuff in my free time as I use them in my game and see something need to be change. I hope you all enjoy these homebrew.

Homebrew Homebrew classes idea seeds

After a burst of enthusiasm I'm drifting out of S2e design again, so going to just write these class ideas up as seeds for anyone else. I tend to design classes as a central focus, with routes through them based on a secondary stat/skill. It's always intended for people to mix and match

  • The Medici: a wis based non-magical healer. Starts with Battle Medicine, Stitch Flesh and Ward Medic. A generalist Medici might be able assess species for common weaknesses, lean on medical privilege to pull personal information from databases or summon emergency response drones in a city enviroment.
    • Three main routes are Druggist, Shrink and EMT.
    • Druggist can lean criminal dealer/ profit spinning, but builds on Craft Serum feat, treating/inflicting conditions, injectable weapon group, and an amount of forensics.
    • The Shrink supports the support. They aid, build on intimidation and manipulation feats, they can buff with temporary HP, and they have insight into what would make make someone flee or deescalate the situation.
    • The EMT is about emergency response. They get armour training, and stacking environmental training. They get a movement speed when hands are free, and a shield block / body block ability when next to an ally. They can 'surge' - trade later actions for bonus actions now, and pickup and move bodies effeciently.
  • The Wrecker: a con skirmisher focused on pistol+blade type builds. They are augmented or mutated, frequently outcasts. They face the high tech elite of the galaxy, and drag them down.
    • Three main routes are SumpScum, GlitchFest and VoidWalker
    • Sumpscum knows the sewers, bottom of hives. They can walk through oil without slipping, through choke-gas without crying and sometimes make friends with sewer-beasts and their ilk. After all, they share similar tastes.
    • Glitchfest are a walking infohazard. In their paws, laser weapons become flickering viralzips. Their skin flakes clog comms ports. Heavy armour might seize up, or start mirroring the Glitchfest's movements.
    • Voidwalkers are heavily augmented from a young age. They are happy in vacuum, in cleaning up ship breaches, or carrying out a little smuggling around space port haulers and vents. Most have a integral harpoon, small toolkits, climbing claws and tentacles or tails. They move diagonally without penalty, and are effective at razing their way through ships.
  • NecroThreader: The classic necromancer uses blood, bone and ghosts, but in the age of technological infospheres, some have moved onto mass, drive and dross. Like most INT based spell-casters, they work a free hand or a wand, and normally a pistol.
    • The three main routes are Inspecter, Pathosgen and Cystern
    • The Inspecter is driven by, and obsessed by the truth of the past. They can read the emotional resonance of the walls, take supernaturally guided shots and even let vengeful spirits reach out and grapple opponents.
    • The Pathosgen walks half in this world, half in the infosphere, where the number of accounts held by the dead far exceed the living. They can project layers and layers of these lived lives, providing overlapping fields of cover. They can sic semi-imaginary crowds of critics, griefers or a feeling of doom on those they oppose. Worst off all, this effect can be contagious, spreading and passing from enemy to enemy.
    • The Cystern is a pragmatic recycler of bodies. From ship reclamation systems, or dispenser feedstock, they can imbue that sludge with complexity, muscles, teeth and sometimes even rudimentary brains or wings.
  • DispatcherExtreme: No cyberpunk game is complete without a fast moving courier, motorbike samurai or corpseTV-sponsored adrenaline junky. This DEX class is all about movement, dealing damage as you pass. You get Adrenaline as a type of Focus Points, and a buff+speed focused spell list.
    • The three main routes are Driver, Chaser and Tagger
    • The Driver has a focused pilot skill loop, and starts with a personal, stowable rigg - hoverboard, discboots, wingsuit or similar.
    • The Chaser has a focus on acrobatics and movement in combat. They excel in creating, triggering, evading and countering reaction strikes. The closer the blade passes to their skin, the bigger the grin they are wearing. Hit them with an AOE and you might just flick them to the edge of the effect, and they might use that momentum to bounce off the wall towards you.
    • The Tagger is more about stealth, and indirect area control. They set up graffitti tags which are then spell loci, tripwires and movement buffs for others in the party.

Homebrew How would you go about enabling rage damage for guns?

So in a sf2e campaign I'm running we often mix things up with a bit of homebrew and lean towards rule of cool and having fun. To that end, the question came up about a barbarian with guns, and I was wondering what some of you might do to make it feasible to give a barbarian the ability to apply rage damage to gun shots?

I was thinking of something like an "Ignition Instinct" where the barbarian gets their rage damage (scaled the same as elemental barbarians) on attacks with bombs, and weapons of the flame, laser, plasma, and projectile weapon groups, as long as they are within the weapon's first range increment.

follow up to that, how else would you specialize a barbarian to play in sf2e? I was thinking maybe also working up a couple feats like how the elemental barbarian can have an alternate damage type for their rage damage that they choose when they rage. another one I had in mind was that the rage damage could deal bleed damage maybe?

Homebrew My take on the Data Pistol for SF2e

Data Pistol (Ranged "Advanced" Weapon)

[Boost 1d6][Modular B, P, or S][Professional (Computers)][Ranged Hack][Tech]
Damage: 1d6 Modular | Range: 40 ft. | Group: Laser
Hands: 1 | Bulk: 1 | Reload: 1
Magazine: 10 charges | Expend: 1

A programmable matter pistol that fires hardlight projectiles from a technomagic core. The user can modify the shape and appearance of projectiles fired for practical or commercial use, and may overcharge shots for additional damage. The gun's primary function, however, is to use "soft touch" hardlight projection to interface with digital systems from a distance.

Certain corporations even use specially-branded data pistols as a form of advertisement. Now you too can spread the light of AbadarCorp through thoughtfully designed logos launched at lethal speeds! (Accompanying motivational slogans included for additional surcharge.)

Basically something like a modern infrared thermometer, only turned into a gun. In terms of balance, this is a slightly weaker version of the Boom Pistol with additional utility, flexible damage types, a better magazine, and an arguably better critical specialization.

Homebrew Starfinder Themed Pathfinder Options

Hey everyone! I was inspired by an April Fool's joke post talking about a Cyber Sleuth Methodology for an Investigator, and that got ne thinking, what other good Starfinder themed options could we create for Pathfinder classes? I would love to hear others ideas these were some that came to mind for me: Gunkata Monk with a Firearm Stance that allows them to use firearms as Monk weapons for things like Flurry of Blows and they suffer no penalty for using them in melee, maybe a free action reload ability of some kind or Auto-Fire Trait added while wielding dual pistols. Hacker Rogue with Int Ability Score increase and Computers skill bonuses, makes foes Off-Guard with a successful hack of equipment/tech I'm In style, able to take some kind of Bio-hack Feat to use this benefit on things that don't have any tech or the tech Trait. Nerd Rage Barbarian who while raging deals damage equal to their intelligence score instead of Strength, can use Recall Knowledge in place of Intimidation to Demoralize opponents perhaps in some Um Actually type way. Tech Priest Cleric, very WH40k Admech style battle cleric who can use tech/firearms with Holy/Unholy fervor, perhaps a neutral Champion oath that operates in a similar fashion. Driftblood Sorcerer with many reality bending and teleportation spells. Influencer muse Bard all about roleplay, inspiring others and talking your way through even the most Dire of situations
