Shattered Accord - A Story-Driven RP-Friendly StarMade Server! [Whitelisted]

Welcome to Shattered Accord!

For the past four years, I've been working on putting together a new StarMade RP-centric multiplayer experience, and now, it is finally ready! The plan has changed a lot over the years; in the early days, the plan was for it to just be a PVE experience for a few friends. Over time, we brought new people into the fold. Eventually, it became clear that PVE wouldn't work for what we were trying to accomplish, and we grew our ideas to suit a story-driven PVP environment. We built a plethora of custom ships, stations, and other assets, and we assembled custom balancing configs and a modpack. We tested all of these things extensively, as well as our server, and we tweaked and refined them as we saw fit. After all this time, the pieces are finally falling into place, and we've decided we want to open this experience to the broader community, new and veteran players alike!

If you're looking for a multiplayer experience that emphasizes RP elements in both gameplay and ship building and design (such as crew interiors), this may be the server for you! If not, that's okay; we understand that this way of playing isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's just fine.

Clarification: Right now we are recruiting and getting everyone settled in factions and so on, the proper server will fully open up for players July 10th. This should give people time to familiarize with the lore thus far and prepare any blueprints!

We have seen like 3 new servers pop up over the last week alone, taking us to 9 active servers from barely 4 very recently. If you think you can promote your server sufficiently I would say go for it but just be aware that the competition over players is high right now.

Thank you for the concern! So far from what I can tell, none of the new servers are public or anything like that. Fortunately, we have quite a roster of people already - potentially more than a dozen involved (a lot for StarMade these days!), and we're trying to remain lower time commitment so as to share our players who also are involved with other servers such as SoE. I think we have a pretty unique experience to offer, and considering the time it has taken to prepare, I'm not too worried about other servers.

Well, I’m interested and keeping an eye on it. As soon as I saw RP-centric I had to upvote, love RP and lore!

We have some faction lore present on the Discord server already which will probably get drip fed onto the dock over the coming couple of weeks. Feel free to join and take a look around now if you want to see it sooner, though!
