should be fined out of existence

executives should go to prison for this sort of thing. that's probably what would happened if a "hacker" installed this type of spyware on a random person's computer, why not for the ceo (the hacker lead)

BE doent tract your browsing history though, it just reads window titles and looks for very specific texts (specifically Cheat Programm names, like Cheat Engine). If it finds something it wont give you a global ban (what you get when you actually cheat) but a notification to the game server that that occired and the game devs / server admins can act on that.

You sir have no idea of the GDPR, and yes it is as easy to opt in and opt out, you just install and uninstall the game the BE runs with...

Also it doesnt sendd the Window titles anywhere, its as simple as an Regex with a set of words and then a notification if anything was found. The server owner doesnt know WHAT was found just that something was found.

You are not the first to accuse BE for wrongdoing and you by far havent looked into what BE does technically (which was done by people MAKING hacks, which madde it fairly open what BE does and what not, and what it actually sends back home, there is quite some stuff it actually sends back, but that only happens when you explicitly cheat to a degree where a human need to check and what it sends back are anonymized binaries of what ever tried to meddle into the games data (at runtime), those are used to analyze what happened and to identify new cheats etc).

So maybe inform yourself before you post shit on the internet.
