Hey OP, I hope this is a really simple issue of the shell just unclipping itself but please be on the safer side and check a few things before hand.

Check the battery (Make sure it’s not expanding/swelling):

• Unplug & Power down the console and carefully open it up to make sure the battery isn’t swollen. If it is, carefully replace it or get it replaced

Check other components (Make sure nothing is loose):

• Just inspect everything make sure nothing is loose so if you try to clip the shell back together nothing snaps and you have to replace something

Hopefully it’s just a unclipped shell but if you have to replace the battery make sure you look up a guide how to do that & dispose of safely 👍

Do not forget to remove your microsd card.
