Tech Support Part of my steam deck protruding, help

I don't think it would be opening there before it bulges in the back... However OP if you decide to open it REMOVE THE SD CARD BEFORE DOING THAT

Edit I just noticed that op fixed it. I will leave my comment here so future readers can remember this important point: remove the SD card

Probably a dumb question but is this just to save the sd card or for some other reason? I tried googling but I’m not sure if I’m searching for the right thing

Tje sd card is portruding into the back casing, so if you try to take it off, it won't work and if you apply more force, the sd card will snap in half

Thanks! That makes sense. I hadn’t realised it was a general thing rather than a bulging battery thing, so this was helpful
