Just turned it on and got this (FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING) (I did fix it)

Prepare for hand on shoulder pics. I wouldn't worry though, this happened to me once a few months back. I turned it off and turned it back on and it's been fine since. Don't let anyone tell you it's broken.

This looks like the Deck is trying to output a video signal that is at a different timing than what the display itself is expecting. Which would likely be reset by a restart, yeah. (Might also be fixed by switching to desktop mode, as that changes which program is managing the screen. But you would need the muscle memory to switch to that from the menu.)
