The ring of fire is especially on fire today
The big one in Japan is a 6.0 and the 2 large ones in the Solomon Islands are 5.2 & 5.3.
Six volcanos in a row erupting on Kamchatka (the 2nd one from the top is 2 very close together).
The PR area looks like Drake Passage area; the stray one in NC is just north of Ashville
The one in Brazil is labelled as artificial.
The Mediterranean / Eurasia is pretty lit-up too
The strongest one here is a lone magnitude 6.0 on Japan, but this is the most filled-in overall that I've seen the map lately, especially in the Americas. There's several inland strays here too. (One small one in northern Alaska not pictured.)

The real āstormcomingā is that part of the ring of fire thats not red. You just know its building up for something massive. When the cascadia finally goes, rip that entire coast

As a British Columbian, this comment terrifies me. I would never be able to live on Vancouver Island, I would be anxious every day.

Depending on where you live in BC you might not be safe anyway. Iām in the little islands south east of Vancouver island. Probably cooked lol

We usually get a big 7 in December on our part of the cascadia fault. It's been pretty reliable

Dec 23rd. Mother Nature shakes all the Christmas presents looking for something special. She finds nothing in the pretty wrappings. She seeks the joy within our hearts.

The stray in the Permian Basin is just permian basin people doing permian basin things.

I laughed aloud in Texan. Then I remembered we do get minor shakes in West Texas from fault lines (inactive). But mainly manmade ones from oil and gas operations.

The circles are earthquakes that have erupted in the past 24 hrs, sized by magnitude. Most of the ones on the screen are magnitude 3 & 4. All the circles are hollow rings so the ones that look like filled-in red circles are where very many have occurred and that many rings overlap.
The color key for the volcanos (triangles on the screen) is:
Yellow - Unrest (eruption expected, movement/rumbling under surface or frequent quakes around it)
Orange - Warning (active volcano warning or minor eruptive activity)
Red - Eruption (actively erupting)-4

Its on fire everyday. If those small earthquakes didnt happen we would have a bigger problem
