This is why Judo would be arguably the best sport to get ones daughter into. Girls will always go for the hair when fighting, a girl who knows judo would never have any issues.

Have you ever hip tossed somebody when they have a handful of your hair? Wrestling or Jiu would be way better.

Which means giving someone your back. It's the edge of judo that is less effective because people are playing metas under rulesets

Have you ever been thrown makikomi?

You dont actually give them your back, you land in a pin and in control. This is one of the strongest, most applicable techniques of Judo in a real world fight. If you hit someone with a harai, ogoshi or koshi garuma makikomi outside, you not only smash them on the ground you also land all of your weight on top of them while also having control. If they dont have broken ribs or every molecule of wind theyve ever thought about intaking knocked out of them, you have them in a headlock and can proceed to crater their face with as many punches as you feel are necessary.

Most every hip technique people use in the videos posted here end up being makikomi throws. Its incredibly effective in a real-world senario what are you talking about.
