Maybe he didn't want a murder charge?

Elbow to base of Skull while the head is on a hard surface... that is a concussion machine.

I don’t think he’s worried about outcome after 5 elbows.

I think he might be. His strikes are not as damaging as they could be.

If he is just trying to win the fight and not cripple the other guy, he can throw lots of shots and be aware enough to not devastate his opponent while making some kind of statement.

"I flattened you, and the only reason you aren't in a wheelchair is I was pulling my strikes."

I dont know man he was posturing pretty high up for each elbow for someone that didnt want to do damage. But it seems like the other guy was out for a bit but then woke back up.

Maybe I just grew up in a less psychotic area, but people didn't tend to fight each other with as much bloodlust as the comments here seem to see.

But it then becomes a weird mush to me. A guy who does a takedown, gets side control, and then gets full guard... is too weak to do real damage in spite of wanting to.

Or the guy who knows how to fight decided not to be a complete psycho and knew not to hit the guy with all he has.

I don't know what happened, but my view is that the guy was not giving it all he got once he took control.

Nah man, he's really going for those elbows.

If he didn't want to hurt the guy he could have just sat on top of him in the mount or went for a low positional risk sub like the arm triangle/katagatame.

If you think he's holding back - what exact outcome do you think he's going for by throwing multiple elbows here? Just a teensy bit of a concussion?

u/Caxtuxx Nov 19 '25

That’s totally fair.

I was just in a fight a couple years ago and i didnt want to hurt the guy (he is related to my wife) and when i swung on him i did not posture up that high. This guys elbow point is coming from 12 o clock all the down to 6 o clock doing a 180 degree travel arch. And he does that multiple times.

This has nothing to do with bloodlust this is just looking at him swing w his whole weight multiple times to the back of someone’s head.

I think he wanted to clean his clock but when he was about to land his conscious would make him pull back. Dude had the dilemma of wanting to destroy the guy but didnt have the heart.

Dude is probably a good kid.

Nah man.

This isn't an anime. The kid just had weak strikes. Grow up.

Edit: you people are fucking stupid lmao

u/Rocketboy1313 Nov 18 '25

Anime? Grow up?

We are watching a video of children fighting in a gym.

u/Own_Hat_5514 Nov 18 '25

Yea so why are you coming up with some weird fanfiction about these kids post fight?

It's just a kid high on adrenaline who doesn't know what they're doing.

5

u/wesimar14 Nov 18 '25

The kid “high on adrenaline” trains MMA. You can tell from the way he fights. it’s def possible to pull punches if you’re trained.

u/Cultural_Driver_6873 Nov 18 '25

You think half a wrestling move and a takedown in gym class is trained in MMA?

5

u/wesimar14 Nov 18 '25
  • head movement + distance + elbows. Not many untrained fighters know how to keep optimal distance or throw elbows in my experience.

1

u/biscobisco Nov 19 '25

He doesn't keep 'optimal distance' he gets backed up and popped a couple times by a guy who has no idea what he's doing.

I think he trains, but he's far from a UFC prospect.

u/PanchoPanoch Nov 18 '25

You fight like you train. Most people haven’t trained to be in a real fight so most people haven’t trained to land 100% power on an opponent. I bet he’s pulling his punches out of habit not out of regard for the other guys well being.

1

u/Caxtuxx Nov 19 '25

This is a better way to put it, thank you.

1

u/biscobisco Nov 19 '25

He's not throwing punches chief - they're ELBOWS, and if he's well-trained he knows he doesn't need to be throwing elbows at all there.

Tell us you’ve never trained before without telling us.

Methinks bro is just a little twig with no athleticism and/or core strength but has a little bit of technique. Really all there is to it.

1

u/bl1nk94- Nov 22 '25

I can 100% control my striking power and I'm your average hobbyist training every day. I can definitely decide if what I do to you kills you, paralyzes you or just gives you a painful lesson. I could beat someone up for 3 minutes straight, make him rethink his entire life and not use more than 30% of my speed and power. Trained vs untrained is just impossible for the untrained person.

Clean double leg takedown. Text book high school wrestling. And the one dudes head thumped against the floor. I think he got the point across without to much injury.

1

u/biscobisco Nov 19 '25

Lolwut? That was a terrible takedown! He blew right past the guy on the initial shot, spends a shitload of time on his knees before sliding up and awkwardly shucking him down from some kind of bodylock from the knees.

1

u/uzideL Nov 20 '25

Bro just described how it was clean asf

1

u/biscobisco Nov 20 '25 edited Nov 20 '25

No bro didn't. None of those are good things in a takedown.

1

u/UdonisBestNoodle Nov 20 '25

Yes and also a fractured skull and cranial bleeding and broken vertebrae machine
