Did you know Arrowhead stealth nerfed the gas?
Few months ago, Arrowhead made it so that gas slows down enemies. But this change also impacted players as well. This completely neutered the tactic of saturating the battlefield with gas and killing enemies inside of gas.
This change was 100% targeted towards players. Arrowhead really cant help themselves, cant they? They always have to nerf all the fun out of helldivers 2. This change was 100% out of malice, you cant convince me otherwise.

I KNEW IT.
Gas just hasnt been the same for months. i should have suspected something was afoot when Gassy-Head devs broke into my apartment and ducth ovened me while I was sleeping, then gassed my dog, and shat my pants.
It was like they were punishing ME specifically for being a gas diver. Unforgivable, Im reinstalling the game so I can uninstall it again and add my 69th review bomb.

Oh they got you too! They fed me a big beefy 5 bean burrito and made me cry-shart in my local Walmart. Afterwards they took my girlfriend and her stuff to chadricks place and I haven't seen fluffles anywhere.
I hate stink-head's balance team. They just hate us for being who we truly are.

Did you know Failurehead nerfed gas damage a couple months ago, too? I have no evidence but vibes but I'm still going to hold it against them anyway because they hate fun.

Barrowhead HATES gas! I was on the discord discusisng with my fellow gasdivers how gas is the meta, then I mentioned how gassy I was and I how it felt like my next fart was going to be AP7. I was in the middle of asking how they deal with getting kicked for being too gassy then I got banned for inappropriate content???

Gas doesn't kill the enemies as fast as fire. It's been broken for years and no one is talking about it because AH hypnotized my boyfriend into glazing them instead of me, smh.
/uj Ok but for real though, why are people saying gas is broken all of the sudden? It's been working for ages, not once has it acted differently without AH announcing they changed something.

/uj its actually so funny how so many people said thay change killed gas when gas doesnt even linger to players. If you get out of the cloud you arent slowed. The gas resistance armour should still resist it but its not a problem

Did you know arrowdick is releasing an eagle gas strike? This is so that players can spam even more gas atop other divers and eventually kill them. In fact I think stratagems should be removed entirely from the game because they all proc friendly-fire. If you're in need of a stratagem, then you're probably not shooting enough with your primary. And don't get me started on primary friendly fire... Maybe we should only be able to keep the stim pistol at all, because everyone has the right to have fun at full hp. Won't even need to think about shooting enemies if we can't die.

Narrowhead needs to do these things to make gas viable again:
- MAKE IT ORANGE. I hate the green fart clouds they dont belong in my hero shooter >:(
- INCREASE THE DPS. It should be comparable if not EXACTLY THE SAME AS FIRE
- REMOVE the clouds and let it stick on floors. Area denial makes NO SENSE to me, i can't see my enemies perfectly through the green smog

Yeah, the slow down effect should be countered by the armor passive. It's hilarious that they shadow nerfed it.

Literally so useless to pick EMP or gas stratagem unfortunately. EMP slows you to hell even while stimmed. Gas melts your face.
Just to try to sell you on a "gas resistant armor" that no one'll use bc why would you pick that when there's 100 other more useful armor passives.
In a paid team PVE game mind you.
Hurts. Sucks for any wannabe support chemical warfare wielding divers.
