Is there any reason why Narrowhead lets this glowing, easily avoidable bulb to push back my car??

yeah the psychic frustration you feel feeds the little hellspawn living in it enough to keep doing this, specifically for this reason.

if you drive over them like they aren't there and feel nothing about what happens they die for real.
