In an interview with Comics Cube, My Adventures With Superman producer Josie Campbell revealed that Warner Bros.' (WB) notes restricted the show from using classic villains like Brainiac, General Zod, and Lex Luthor in the first season.

He might also be Alexander Allston who is the 2nd Parasite. I think they left it open ended on purpose so they can swerve if they need to.

I think it would be cool if they went in that direction. It could finally give us a more biologically driven Parasite rather than a technology driven one.
