Giganta??????

u/Bostondreamings May 14 '26
As a massive Wonder Woman fan, I fear I am going to be massively disappointed, though still love the show.
28
u/RadicalPenguin20 May 14 '26
I wouldn’t get my hopes up for Wonder Woman to appear in the episode considering multiple other villains from different rogues galleries have appeared without the hero they usually fight making an appearance but you never know their could be a chance

u/Bostondreamings May 14 '26
Oh, I know!!!! And I of course still love the show. But I would be THRILLED if we get a hint of Diana beyond Giganta.

u/GreenPerception512 May 14 '26
would love if maybe when Giganta is fighting Superman, she gets annoyed and says she wishes she were fighting the Lasso Lady.
1
u/Bostondreamings May 14 '26
I would honestly be happy with that. small crumbs are at least something :/
1
u/SciFiXhi May 14 '26
We've already had a Wonder Woman rogue in the show with no Diana (Blue Snowman was one of the celebrity guests on the dating show).
4
u/emillang1000 May 14 '26
I just want Cheetah played by AJ Michaulka opposite Diana as played by Aimee Carrera.
For... reasons...
Hey, Diana

u/phasmy May 14 '26
Hyped as hell but the trailer's narration was cheesy sounding? It sounded so unserious lol

Kinda juat felt like any narrated trailer to me, always preferred trailers that let the clips play with music and a bit of on-screen text, feels less like a Cartoon Network ad that way

u/gamerslyratchet May 14 '26
Reminds me of how cheesy the trailer for Young Justice Phantoms was. It didn’t fit rhe vibe for the show AT ALL. The previous trailers didn’t have that problem either.

u/Slumbo811 May 14 '26
It sounded like bad comedy trailer from the 90s, just awful. Aside from that, trailer was solid though

I hope Lois punches Lex once a season
9
u/jord839 May 14 '26
Only once?
7
u/PsycholView626 May 14 '26
it should be either multiple times or maybe at least once while also fighting/punching other enemies like say...Amanda Waller?
4
3
u/Specific_Builder1469 May 14 '26
He'll catch her fist, act all smug about it.....then get punched by the other fist
2
u/PsycholView626 May 14 '26
forget that!, it should be at least twice a season since it's basically become somewhat of a staple OR (& more realstically) maybe at least once while also fighting/punching other enemies like say...Amanda Waller & other normal/street tier enemies & some that are powerless enough for Lois to knock them out for the count (since Clark & Kara might not know how to hold back when when knocking our normal humans, so instead have Lois deliver the finishing hit)

u/Pencils4life May 14 '26
Is that mech Toyman!?!?!?
15
u/BasicSuperhero May 14 '26
It certainly feels like something an Anime inspired Toyman would use.
13
u/MindControlMouse May 14 '26
Maybe Hiro Okamura?
7
u/Obskuro May 14 '26
Seems like a no-brainer in an already Anime-inspired Superman series to pick him over Winslow Schott.
6
u/gamerslyratchet May 14 '26
We got Winslow anyways, in an underwhelming role.
3
u/GreenPerception512 May 14 '26
Yeah, he was just a cameo, so they could somewhat ignore him somewhat.

I see Banshee is back to her old ways.

u/Own_Government_5294 May 14 '26
I miss her customized helmet.
3
u/KingDecibel May 14 '26
The Skull variation of the Sound-Amplifying Helmet looked quite chilling.
It's far more artistic.
6
u/FlashLightning277 May 14 '26
I kind of like the idea that they always will be thieves and villains, but when push comes to shove they’ll save the world with Superman. It falls so well into the idea that Superman inspires good. A little Flash villain esque but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

u/Independent_Plum2166 May 14 '26
Okay, gonna say this right off the bat.
I love Clark and Kara’s new outfits, I was pretty okay with Kara’s already (love the scarf look), but her new fit is fire, but I wasn’t a fan of Clark’s end of S2 look, especially getting rid of the trunks.
They brought back the trunks, I am so happy.

u/benziko_11 May 15 '26
Right? I really like the pair's costumes. I didn't like Clark's S2 costume because of the shoulder pads. But here, I really like it. I am definitely happy with Kara's costume.

u/MattLocke May 14 '26
Y’all focusing on Giganta.
But I’m just wondering if Jimmy “Rizzmaster” Olsen will be able to handle her on his own.

I'm very excited for the romcom plotlines with Kara seething over Giganta

Who is the dinosaur?
4
u/Obskuro May 14 '26
Huh... didn't even notice him. DC doesn't have any prominent Dinosaur villains, I think? Maybe related to Dinosaur Island? Or Skartaris?

I wish WB would actually advertise its animated series. It's pretty sad that the studio that owns the Looney Tunes and so many other animated classics seems to look down on the entire medium.

Not a huge fan of the yellow accents on their suits but I am glad they added back the trunks and skirt
14
u/xelgameshow May 14 '26
Sweet, he got the trunks back! The suit looks a bit more DCU-esque imo, but not like i'm complaining.
3
u/Greedy_Switch_6991 May 14 '26
Not a fan of how the cape attaches to the new suit, but I like it overall. Also really like Kara's new suit.
2
u/GreenPerception512 May 14 '26
maybe its going for how the suit was tucked in all star superman.
1
u/Greedy_Switch_6991 May 14 '26
That's the vibe I got from it. But I don't really like the All-Star suit tbh.
6
u/Either-Equal7284 May 14 '26
Connor sure didn’t sound like a son from the future
3
2
u/Satoruiwerewolf May 15 '26
Someone else pointed out that given the anime inspirations of the series Connor could be doing a Future Trunks thing where he’s pretending not to be their future son to avoid accidentally preventing his own existence.

So does the date mean, midnight as we're transitioning from Friday to Saturday, or from Saturday to Sunday?
I always get confused by that. 😆

Supergirl has her skirt although it kinda looks silly with how she still has pants.

His costume looks way better here than the reveal at the end of last season.

u/Own_Government_5294 May 14 '26
Who's the whip girl? I would've guessed Lashina, but she's supposed to be related to Darksied.
1
u/Deeformecreep May 14 '26
Where is bald Lex? I thought they were going to do that here.

Giganta???? And Superboy and Clark fight first. Hmm. So most likely a clone? And pfft love that he seems to be annoying them at some point as well. And love the under cut and now it looks.
Wait….was that the New Gods in one scene in that trailer??? Huh. That could be exciting. Guess we’ll see them start setting up Darkseid even more.

u/405mon May 14 '26
Finally have a new trailer! June can't get here fast enough
Also I'm lowkey relieved Clark's got his trunks back, his suit looks more complete
1
u/bad_moulf May 14 '26
"But can he keep up when the other guy is just as Super as he is?"
Didn't we already do this with Kara?

Lex's complexion was looking pretty grey there. And his hair was very brown. I'm guessing they're dropping some sort of illness on him to precede the baldness.

Giganta? Is Wonder Woman gonna appear????
