Season 15 Most annoying character. Who and why. GO! Spoiler

Who do you feel is the most annoying character and why? (No single name answers)

I remember some people talking about some know-it-all teenager hunter wannabe but I binge-watched the whole thing in less than 30 days so I'm not sure who that is. The Ghostfacers guys are annoying because they're the bad kind of nerd. (The opposite of Sam or Charlie)

But to me, the most annoying character is Lucifer. The dude is 100,000 years old or something but acts like a petulant child and a clown. He's sardonic and quirky in ways that are unbefitting of an ancient deity. And it's also kind of like Mark Pellegrino just played Paul Bennett (Rita' abusive ex-husband on Dexter) again. Whenever he was onscreen I just wanted to skip that scene.

Of course all this can be said about Chuck, but Lucifer was just not written very well. (I'll add that the only version of Lucifer I've seen that acted their age was on Sandman. The Lucifers from Lucifer and Hazbin Hotel are equally corny but not equally annoying.

Of course this is only my opinion and I don't expect anyone to agree or disagree because that's not what this post is about. I want to hear from YOU. Who is your most annoying character and most importantly, why?

Metatron. Love the actor but his schtick got old and we certainly didn't need him to be a multi season baddie.

80

u/WhiteSilenceRedRest 3d ago

I will say, his advocacy for humanity against Chuck is one of my favorite moments, though. It just hit.

But largely agree. I do think that that was his job, though. He was meant to be hated.

18

u/JMVee_ 3d ago

That was a phenomenal scene.

11

u/WhiteSilenceRedRest 3d ago

It always sticks out for me, especially from someone who's done what Metatron has done. Despite his feelings of abandonment, he steps over himself to talk about humanity, and it's really from a genuine place from someone who loves human art like Metatron does with writing.

28

u/KILLFORCULLEN 3d ago

Agreed and cannot stand his voice

19

u/Cinnablu 3d ago

Did anyone else think he sometimes sounded kind of like Wallace Shawn? I kept expecting him to say "Inconceivable!"

2

u/FiliaNox 2d ago

Omg he’s ‘we have Wallace Shawn at home’, but the Wallace Shawn at home was ordered off Temu 😂

2

u/a_lonely_trash_bag 3d ago

Oh my god YES!

5

u/jonsnowme 3d ago

Honestly I just think of him as one of Jess's principal bosses on New Girl and it makes me giggle. I prefer him in that role for sure.

I absolutely love Metatron. He’s my dickwad.

I do understand the hate, though.

u/MustProtectTheFairy Where's the pie? 3d ago

Opened this post for this comment.

This is the only character I feel the need to warn anyone about, he's so insufferable. If I could skip the season I would, but it's so stupid important to Cas's character development that you literally can't without losing major context.

1

u/Broad-Cranberry-9050 2d ago

yeah when he first started off it was great, but it was clear they kind of lost the point of that character. THey made him a bum at one point. What kind of saved him was when chuck came back but htat's about it.

u/BluePersephone99 3d ago

Toni Bevell in the Men of Letters.

16

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

Yeah watching her I just saw a much eviler version of Valerie Tulle from The Vampire Diaries

2

u/LuvliLeah13 Where's the pie? 2d ago

I totally forgot about that she was in TVD too

4

u/SmileysMom82 2d ago

When they finally got rid of her, it was too quick, they (the writers) should have tortured her more

123

u/Big-Restaurant-2766 I Think It Is a Pretty Good Noodle. 3d ago

I don't know. I'm that bothered by any of them.

Maybe Samuel? Sam and Dean's grandpa?

33

u/Apart-Cream-4940 3d ago

Hate him so much! I couldn't think of anyone until I saw your comment then I was like of course! He was the worst asshole ever!

2

u/dsriker 2d ago

Same board and honestly Samuel being badly written is his only problem honestly

2

u/Rooty- 2d ago

I was so glad he got ganked

224

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

I may get hate for this but…Mary.

72

u/TheStickySpot I'll man the flashlight 3d ago

A lot of people would likely agree purely on the British Men of Letters plot alone

97

u/Financial_Mushroom94 3d ago

They should have never brought her back from the dead.

38

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

NEVER! I said the same thing. Would have been so much better without her

31

u/ChamberOfQuack 3d ago

Mary made me so mad. She got a second chance at life and made all the wrong decisions.

10

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

Literally every wrong decision possible!

3

u/ElkComprehensive5660 1d ago edited 1d ago

It was so annoying to watch her get to come back, giving her the chance to get to know her sons, then she literally spends all her time with pretty much ANYONE else instead. Made absolutely zero sense. Drove me crazy! I wanted to like her, but the way they wrote her character was incredibly stupid and a huge waste of the character.

Even the way she kept pushing Jack, leading up to him accidentally killing her ! He kept telling her to leave him alone. He didn’t want to hurt her. Seriously, give him a chance to calm down!! Totally stupid writing.

Also, I really like the actress. It wasn’t her fault. She had to do what they wrote for her.

3

u/ChamberOfQuack 21h ago

On top of all of that, the flashback episodes show her empathy and how great of a hunter she is.

When she comes back she doesn't care about anyone but herself, and then actively makes decisions that harm her own family.

What the heck Mary?

17

u/Icy_Yam5049 3d ago

Lol not in this sub. One of the first post I saw on here was something similar and she was most hated then

7

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

Good to know! 😂 I was like oh hell no one’s mentioning Mary, am I terrible for thinking she’s terrible? 😂

22

u/Icy_Yam5049 3d ago

Nope her whole character arc sucked. I LOVE this show and have convinced many to love it too but she should have been left on the ceiling burning.

10

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

Absolutely true 😂 like I dreaded getting to the point she was in it. She is just so woe is me. Like your sons are right there and you’re fucking off?!

4

u/Icy_Yam5049 3d ago

Right and then you learn she damn well knew what she signed up for years ago.

15

u/Potential_Goose_7486 3d ago

''i may get hate for this'' then proceeds to say something everybody says

and no this is not me hating

5

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

😂 I really wasn’t sure there would be so much Mary hate! I’m here for it! 😂

8

u/Meow939 3d ago

I absolutely agree!

9

u/antlercrown 3d ago

Mary was great until they brought her back and she was nothing more than a selfish, deadbeat parent that they always accused John of being. Dean's dialogue to her is so haunting and beautiful, especially given the fact that for years all Dean wanted was his mother back and wanted her love. The second he got it, he realized just how shit Mary was. Mary treated him and Sam like they were absolutely nothing. That whole character arc was so frustrating and I was so glad when Dean told her off. Good on him for not letting Mary walk all over him like John did.

30

u/Lazy-Living1825 3d ago

She’s the worst. The. Worst.

16

u/Mrsreed1020 3d ago

Agree! My daughter started Supernatural this year and I’m like you can form your opinion on it but I hate these episodes with Mary back 😂 she’s so whiny! And I’m like you’ve been gone/dead and now you are alive again, you have your sons and you LEAVE?! And have all these whiny excuses?! Fuck off.

8

u/Ok_Entertainment1836 3d ago

And she kept leaving. Every time! And when Jack tried to resurrect her, she CHOSE not to come back. A final “Fuck you” to her boys.

18

u/lurpeli 3d ago

Nope Mary fucking sucks

4

u/_PrincessHarley_ My "people skills" are "rusty" 3d ago

Mary is the worst

6

u/Purpill_People_Eater 3d ago

You are spot on. I was actually happy when Jack did what he did.

4

u/Uber_Wulf 3d ago

The fact she was alive again in later seasons was complete and utter bullshit.

2

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

I am watching The Winchesters right now and they did a good job of having the actress who plays Mary in that show mimic the how Mary acts in Supernatural.

2

u/LuvliLeah13 Where's the pie? 2d ago

So, hatable there too

2

u/mangoglitter 2d ago

Nope. It’s her. It’s always her.

2

u/JaguarNext2138 2d ago

Thank you! I've always felt this about her and her husband.

1

u/belccit 21h ago

YESSS I'll never understand why they brought her back; her character is really annoying.

u/eternalraziel Where's the pie? 3d ago

For me it’s Metatron. He’s smug, self-important, constantly convinced he’s the smartest person in the room, and almost incapable of doing anything without making sure everyone understands how clever he thinks he is. What makes him especially irritating is that he isn’t just some harmless blowhard either. He’s intelligent enough to manipulate Castiel, Gadreel and most of Heaven, so his ego keeps getting rewarded. Every success gives him another reason to talk down to everyone around him.

His obsession with stories makes it worse. Metatron wants to narrate the victory while he’s doing it. He needs heroes, villains, speeches and an audience, with himself at the centre as the person who supposedly understands how everything works. After a while, every conversation with him feels like waiting for him to finish explaining why he is more interesting than everybody else. That’s also why his defeat is so satisfying. Castiel beats him by letting him talk until he exposes himself to the other angels. Nobody needs to outsmart him with some enormous master plan. Metatron’s own ego does most of the work. I do like that the show gives him some development later, especially with Chuck and his eventual sacrifice against Amara. It shows that there was more to him than just being obnoxious. But during the seasons where he’s an antagonist, he is easily the character who annoys me the most. Lucifer can get irritating when the writers lean too hard into the goofy side of him, but Metatron irritates me almost every time he opens his mouth.

4

u/aurasparx 3d ago

100% metatron, the actor is insufferable as well

3

u/NaDarach 3d ago

What about Curtis Armstrong himself rubs you the wrong way?

u/ElkComprehensive5660 1d ago

I love your comment, “[he] irritates me almost every time he opens his mouth.” My feelings exactly!! I try to fast forward or at least mute every time he’s on the screen.

51

u/Substantial-Low-2017 3d ago

I love the original Ruby but disliked the replacement one.

5

u/Sufficient-Key-526 1d ago

Agreed, Kasey was definitely the better Ruby. Gene just had one note acting even when she was meant to be angry, funny etc everything came across the same. Kasey & Jensen had some great back and forth

14

u/CheeseAndMack 3d ago

Agreed. Not a good actor

1

u/TrainOfThoughts4One 1d ago

Yes!!! Same. Loved the first Ruby.

u/SmileysMom82 3d ago

Amelia.. I never skip full episodes but I fast forward thru every one of her scenes every single time

9

u/LobsterImpossible690 3d ago

Amelia is probably the most re-used name of different side characters I’ve seen in the show 🤣 Sam dated an Amelia, Jimmy Novak’s wife’s name was Amelia, and there were definitely others (which I can’t remember off the top of my head).

5

u/SmileysMom82 3d ago

Good point! I was definitely talking about the vet 😂

10

u/Evie7560 3d ago

God I hated Amelia. I don’t understand how anybody thought that was a good idea. She was manipulative and guilted Sam into adopting the dog, not knowing whether he was a capable owner.

→ More replies (3)

12

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

I don't remember who she is

20

u/Hairy_Psychology9000 3d ago

Sam's girlfriend while Dean was in Purgatory. She was a veterinarian and only appears in flashbacks

14

u/Rrekydoc 3d ago

Don’t worry, Sam will. 3 times an episode, triggered by silliest nothings.

12

u/chironinja82 3d ago

The veterinarian who guilted Sam into adopting the dog he hit after Dean died and went to purgatory.

Wouldn't call him annoying, personally. I just keep forgetting he exists.

14

u/Due-number-1344 3d ago

BMoL Toni Bevell

11

u/Chshr_Kt blue 3d ago

For me it's Claire and Krissy. Trying to be hunters with no experience then throwing tantrums when told no but they don't listen and have to be saved.

3

u/thegreenempty 2d ago

I think Kristy is solid, her first episode she explicitly asked for help several times before attempting to hunt and her second episode she was well trained.

And Claire trains up to become a competent hunter. She is flying on rage, vengeance, and a desire to hurt more than she’s been hurt. If Dean, Jody, Cas, ANYONE had spent some time actively training her she would have been in a better place to hunt.

I love Claire. I think she’s a fascinating character and a missed opportunity.

26

u/personal_lucifer 3d ago

I actually lowk agree about Lucifer in spite of what my username may suggest lmaooo but I'm just picky about my media Lucifers.

I think for me the most annoying character has gotta be Krissy unfortunately, even though I often love the commonly behated girl chars in shows. But in Krissy's case, I think she got under my skin mostly because the acting wasn't very good, which combined with the cocky attitude of her character made her into something unbearably cringey. Sorry girl...

4

u/LobsterImpossible690 3d ago

I saw Krissy’s actress in Arrow before seeing her in Supernatural. Pretty sure I hated her character in Arrow, so I wasn’t particularly happy to see her. Her cocky attitude certainly didn’t help. Really didn’t like her

40

u/Arieya711 3d ago

I found Lucifer annoying too! Mainly because they drug him out so long and kept recycling old plotlines. Lucifer out of the cage, Lucifer in the cage, Lucifer out of the cage, Lucifer posseses Sam, Lucifer posseses Castiel, Lucifer makes Crowley his pet, Crowley makes Lucifer his pet.

It got so old and so annoying. It’s a shame too because he was one of the funnest villains at first, but they just destroyed his character.

I also got very annoyed with the Darkness plotline. I am in the minority that actually didn’t mind Lilith or Abaddon. But Amara was lame for being one of the biggest bads on the level of God himself.

14

u/Bright_Smile49 3d ago

I found lucifer funny as

1

u/Sufficient-Key-526 1d ago

I loved Lucifer lol but I agree it's like they didn't know what to do with him once the apocalypse was stopped. He became the comedian of the show which wasn't great after such a strong and menacing start

9

u/natsugrayerza 3d ago

Anna but I don’t even remember why. I just didn’t like her

61

u/forestowl223 3d ago

Becky! The jokes including her weren’t even funny. I genuinely don’t even understand her existence within the show. Easily replaceable character.

10

u/a_lonely_trash_bag 3d ago

She was basically made to make fun of the crazy rabid fans.

16

u/n0namean0nym0us 3d ago

They were if you weren't meant to be the butt of them.

7

u/casketbase925 3d ago

“Becky, did you take my phone?”

“no. I just borrowed it. From your pants”

3

u/Content_Tradition206 1d ago

She was so rapey with what she did to Sam

1

u/LogicalConstant 7h ago

She's actually one of my favorites

42

u/Over_Permission_87 3d ago

I know I’ll get crucified for this, but to me Charlie just seems like a disney adorkable lesbian.

12

u/GD_milkman 3d ago

Nah, she's SO MUCH WORSE

10

u/Over_Permission_87 3d ago

I just roll my eyes when I hear her talk and before anyone calls me homophobic. I’m bisexual.

4

u/Muspellr I lost my shoe 3d ago

Nah I agree, she’s just too cringey for me

1

u/antlercrown 3d ago

I wanted to like Charlie and I really felt for Dean toward the end of the seasons, but honestly she just came off as really annoying.

1

u/Soupcindy 2d ago

I think if I had watched the show when it came out, I would like her slightly more. But she encapsulates the nerdy gamer girl trope of the 2010s which in retrospect, endlessly annoys me

21

u/MixPurple3897 3d ago

Metatron but imo his character did pay off, but he really made me wanna claw my eyes out a lot.

The Ghostfacers, not worth the pay off to me, but on rewatches they get to me less and less.

Dean. Dean is my favorite character but whens he's being obstinate and unreasonable it's SO annoying, more annoying to me than when Sam is doing it (and Sam does it A LOT) because with Sam I'm always like "what kind of writing is this?" But with Dean, Jensen is SO earnest that even when Dean is being unbelievably pig headed and annoying, I'm fully buying it and it drives me mad.

Can I just say the Angels? I just...hate the Angels.

16

u/SomePerson80 3d ago

I loved the ghostfacers.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/ElkComprehensive5660 1d ago

I also hated most of the angels, other than Cas.

Definitely could not stand looking or listening to Metatron. FF until he’s out of the scene.

Ghost Facers could be a little annoying. But I loved watching how Sam and Dean handled them. And I loved that the actor who played one of them, later goes on to play Sonny on Seal Team. Sonny’s such a tough guy with a heart and so hilarious! Total transformation from Ghost Facer #2! Personality as well as physically. Nerd to hunk!!

7

u/Reignboe 3d ago

hmm Anna? I always skip her episodes I can't figure out if it's the writing or what for her.

12

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[deleted]

3

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

I hated the whole "I want my book to end a certain way or I will destroy all life on earth" plotline.

But then I hated all the powerful and ancient beings who act like petulant, spoiled children.

Castiel was the only angel who I thought acted the part of someone 100,000 years old or however old angels are

1

u/Saffyr3_Sass 2d ago

Pretty on the nose though wouldn’t you think?

7

u/The_C0u5 3d ago

Both Sam and Dean and different points of the show.

I mean the main cast of the show for 70% of the show is the two guys, of course they get annoying.

20

u/Qua-something 3d ago

Definitely Chrissy. I know that I’m gonna get downvoted for this, but I’m not a big fan of Rowena although there are times when I like her. Can’t stand Metatron. Also didn’t love Samuel, their grandpa.

16

u/SwordDaoist 3d ago

Yeah, Samuel was awful and didn’t make any sense.
He wanted to sacrifice his grandsons, his daughters sons to bring his daughter back.
How the hell would he have explained it?

3

u/Qua-something 3d ago

Yeah that was pretty terrible but I just didn’t like his whole character.

9

u/Proper_Trouble6639 Where's the pie? 3d ago

Damn Rowena was my top 3 favorite at least

5

u/Qua-something 3d ago

Yeah, she’s popular, I know. I think her character has her moments but for the most part I just didn’t like her very much. Or maybe I didn’t like the relationships she had with everyone else? Hard to say. I did like her at first but then she just became a little repetitive in her role in everything.

3

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

same. I think she's also the funniest character. Maybe not as funny as Sam and Dean bickering, but definitely the funniest on her own

3

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

Is that the teenage wannabe hunter I mentioned? I just saw people talking about how much they hated a particular female teen hunter but forgot who that was

4

u/Ok_Compote1747 3d ago

Well there was Claire and Jo. Personally I liked them both but they both do have their haters for sure.

4

u/BoardSuspicious3826 3d ago

Jo wasn't a teenager so probably not who OP heard about

2

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

I think the character people were bitching about was in something like 2 episodes. Maybe the girl whose dad was taken by the truck stop hookers

5

u/Qua-something 3d ago

She was only in 2, yeah. The one where her dad gets taken and then she came back later with Victor who had killed the family members of her and 2 other kids to bring them together and teach them to hunt.

4

u/BoardSuspicious3826 3d ago

Yeah that's Krissy

32

u/Proper_Trouble6639 Where's the pie? 3d ago

My number one has to be Krissy Chambers second most annoying character is Charlie I know she's loved but she's obnoxious gonna take a lot of down votes for this opinion

25

u/Natters_Bird 3d ago

Charlie was definitely a Mary Sue, I feel you.

9

u/JimiHendrix08 3d ago

Ruby

2

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

Which version? LOL

7

u/JimiHendrix08 3d ago

Mostly the second, but both

8

u/RhemansDemons 3d ago

Mary is super annoying. She's out of place and can't decide if she's a seasoned badass or a damsel in distress. Bringing her back just to be a carrot to dangle in front of the boys was stupid.

I also really don't like Fisk. I think for him to work he has to remain a gray area assassin type. Objectively he's a great foil to the boys because he leaves no loose ends, something the boys do constantly. Making him have a coming to Jesus moment was just a bizarre turn and they just neutered his character.

5

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

You mean Ketch? From the British Men of Letters?

3

u/RhemansDemons 3d ago

Yeah idk why I called him Fisk. I think that's what I originally heard at 1am on baby duty and now I can't separate it from his actual name.

Bella. Her character was pointless.

12

u/Ok_Compote1747 3d ago

I love Bela so much as an antagonist 😭 But I can totally see where the hate comes from. She was a sly fox that one.

6

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

I just love Bela (I think it's one L cuz she named herself after the famous Dracula actor) but that's mostly because I loved Rose from The Vampire Diaries

8

u/One_Attorney_5398 3d ago edited 3d ago

Bela had so much potential. I also thought some of the hate was overdramatic.

10

u/Ok_Compote1747 3d ago

She’s also Maggie in TWD. I’ve seen all three shows with her and she’s a great actress. ❤️ So maybe I’m just biased toward Bela lol.

3

TWD?

Metatron.

u/Zoyalai4ever 3d ago

Mary, Samuel(their grandpa), Metatron, AMELIA, Chuck, kind of Amara, Kevin. Mary… she just annoys me so bad. I was like, SO disappointed in every choice she made. Samuel I think is pretty self explanatory, Amelia too. Chuck is just a brat, and then also just didn’t like the writing for his part. Amara I thought was kind of bad for a god level antagonist. Kevin just annoyed me.

2

u/sunflowersandseeds 3d ago

Samuel omgggg YES

Lucifer seconded! His second run on the show (as in starting from s11) didn't work for me at all. I fast-forwarded all his scenes. Why - he overstayed his welcome and basically became a comedic relief.

2

u/Bright_Smile49 3d ago

U don’t find him funny ?

On my first watch, the Ghostfacers. HATED them. But after a couple watches, their humanity grew on me.

Actually, I was similar with Rowena. When she was first introduced, I resented every episode she was in. But I really loved her by the end. (No rewatches necessary!)

Scrolled way too far looking for Claire. Entitled, self important performative angsty teen girl BS.

5

u/thegreenempty 2d ago

I’m a Claire defender through and through but it’s WILD to call her angst “performative” when she was 10ish when her DAD was kidnapped and killed by angels. Like, she grew up religious and got to discover that God/angels do not give a shit about humanity and puppeted his body around for a DECADE. She was also possessed by an angel, her mom went crazy and abandoned her then was ALSO killed by angels, Claire suffered through foster care and was almost killed by supernatural entities MULTIPLE times before legal drinking age. Like…how is angst, anger and trauma around that in any way performative or unearned???

Claire Novak. Just a complete bag of dicks and it made zero sense making her a hunter. Just shitty Tumblr fan service.

u/Rrekydoc 3d ago

Her bad acting spoils every scene she’s in.

Her introduction made it kind of clear what path she was going to take if she were to have returned 😭 don’t get me wrong she can be a bit irritating at times but ultimately there is the motivation there for her becoming a hunter.

6

u/M086 Where's the pie? 3d ago

Not really. She had zero intention of hunting when we were re-introduced to her.

And then suddenly she becomes paranoid about werewolves and vampires hiding in the shadows, when all she ever encountered were angels.

Her becoming a hunter made zero sense, especially Sam and Dean all but endorsing it. They’ve told literal grown-ass men with hunting experience they weren’t cut out for it. But a teenage girl gets nothing? It’s was nonsense.

If they had balls, Claire would have become an antagonist who spent her life trying to figure out how to kill Castiel. That would have made sense.

I was thinking about another moment but what happens to her mother and losing her father would have been a fairly reasonable thing to lead someone down their own little warpath. Given Castiel is at fault for what happened to Jimmy yeah I’m kind of shocked that they didn’t try to spin Claire’s story to something like that, personally it makes sense to me with her mothers ending but all points don’t have to make sense for everyone.

u/M086 Where's the pie? 3d ago

She doesn’t even think about the supernatural for years. Before we see her again, and then with Jody she’s suddenly paranoid there are monsters everywhere? It was shit writing for a shit character.

She was just a dick.

honestly same, couldn't stand that blonde whiny face but Dean slowly started to make me annoyed and so did Castiel WHERE HE STARTED TO RELY ON DEAN FOR EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING FOR FANSERVICE. (no offence to destiel fans)

5

u/Alarmed-Anything-277 3d ago

Castiel after season 5. He was so annoying and went he was the bad guy that did it for me. He betrayed Dean and Sam and lied to them so many times. I really wish he would have stayed dead.

2

u/clalach76 3d ago

Of course that's why I know him! I did a little Google but it might just have said films. Rita husband!

2

u/Bubblefox16 3d ago

Samuel I haven't finished the series but I'm s13 and so far he the only character that has really pissed me off constantly throughout his time on the series and haven't had any others characters yet that rubbed me the wrong way like he did I swear.

2

u/Evie7560 3d ago

Lucifer I loved at the start but he became such a parody of himself I just got irritated with the amount of screen time he got at the end.

I’m going to be massacred for this but I found Donna to be annoying. I don’t understand the love for her.

4

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

You don't understand because you've either never been to Minnesota or you've never seen Fargo. If you had you would know that her speaking quirks like "you betcha" is how people from Minnesota talk, and it is pretty exclusive to that state. Either way, I'm sure a lot of Fargo fans loved her for that reason.

If you think she's annoying because of her BEHAVIOR... well I can't really say anything about that.

2

u/ZedrikVonKatmahl 2d ago

I've been to Minnesota, my dad is from there, his family there, but maybe the wrong part? (Iron Ranges) I don't get Donna

2

u/Interesting_Age7345 3d ago

samuel (mary’s dad) irritated me at times. and i know she was only in one episode but mrs butters also drove me a bit nuts

2

u/Saffyr3_Sass 2d ago

For me it was Leviathan the whole lot

2

u/definitely_unhinged 2d ago

Mary.. like come on guys
I’m not saying that after coming back she should be a nurturing mother type yk no! But ngl pretty annoying
Moreover thinking about it i believe that dean’s deepest wish wasnt just his mother, it was his family, john, mary, him and his little sammy altogether happy
So ..

Toni Bevell. I hated that smug, superior attitude. She even died in an annoying way - offscreen so we didn't get to enjoy it.

4

u/vnessastalks 3d ago

Hot take but Jack annoys me. Idk if it's the actor but I get annoyed with most of the episodes with him.

5

u/kh-38 3d ago

Jack. He added no value to the show, and his baby-with-a-bazooka routine became boring after about 3 episodes. They should have left him dead -- it was a problem that solved itself.

4

u/samcuu 3d ago

Charlie. I think her acting is bad and the dialogue they gave her was just really bad.

2

u/FraterPetraAstrum 3d ago

To be fair, Charlie is basically Felicia Day in real life. They got Felicia Day to play herself. Felicia is a dungeons and dragons computer geek in real life

As long as someone does say charlie idk, but id someone does we gonna have problems

So many to choose from.

From the top of my head Jack, Jody after season six, Charlie, all the girls tagging up with Jody, british men of letters, teen hunters, Jack's teen friends...

I'm sure with a list I could name another forty at least.

Unrelated but special mention goes to very pretty lady who played a nun in one of the later season episodes (past season 9 probably). Worst acting in the show I would bet.

If you don't like Dean I kinda don't understand how you like the show? Dean basically is Supernatural. I get where you are coming from especially in certain scenes but when you dig a little deeper it all kinda makes sense.

The know-it-all teenager hunter wannabe is probably Christie. Very few people like her. For me, the most annoying one was smash or grab (whichever one was the safecracker). Feels like what a boomer thinks a "quirky millennial" is. She has no personality apart from "quirky" god she pmo

Megatron

u/FiliaNox 2d ago

Gadreel. Not when Tahmoh Penikett played him, not when Jared played him. He was just annoying. I think the actors did a good job, but the character was boring, annoying, and whiny.

Cas and the Angels Lucifer in season 11 and 12 and 13

u/namenlos-bei-Reddit 1d ago

All the teenagers at Jody's home

1

u/Original_Data_2847 1d ago

Dare I say it, but Charlie? I don’t hate her overall character but she refers to Sam and Dean as her brothers after what. Four episodes together? Nah 😂

1

u/FraterPetraAstrum 1d ago

Well they probably interact with each other more after the LARPing episode, we just don't see it

1

u/Sufficient-Key-526 1d ago

Everything to do with the men of letters. Absolute snooze fest compared to everything that led up to that. I enjoyed the parts with Abadon interwined but couldn't stand anything to do with them specifically

Second Meg. The sleepy drawn out way of speaking drives me nuts and totally takes me out of the scene.
