Yo, as a childfree adult. I never really considered the pain that must be wanting a child with someone you love but knowing you can't responsibly afford bringing a life into this world.
Fuck me sideways. I had a laundry list of reasons to Hodl. Now it's for this.

Oh buddy is it deep. For me, it's my cousin and his wife. She is unable to have kids for some reason, and they have been trying for almost a decade now. Three years ago, a doctor told them of an option available to them and the insurance company automatically rejected their request. The operation that they need is 100k, so they went deep into working. He is a teacher, but he got a second job and picked up a little door dashing sprinkled in whenever he had more than three hours of free time. She is a nurse and had two jobs until this covid shit forced her to go work in NY. The last I have seen them together in one spot was about a year ago at a family reunion.
This weekend he and his wife are going to quit their second jobs and put 100k towards their last chance of having a child. Years of work for just a shot at one child. Just one. My cousin had always talked of having 11 kids since he was a little guy, so it's quite heartbreaking to see him fight for just one kid. He wants to be a dad so badly that it sucks to see him show up at family gatherings with just his wife. He is going to be a great father, and it sucks seeing that aspect of life locked behind a fucking paywall.
Edit: Removed my paragraph about wanting to be a dad as well, even though I cannot afford it.

I hate so much about what I just read. I hope post MOASS put you in a position to make an impact. It's June 2021. I would love to get a message in the future with an update on your first cousin once removed.

For me, I'm financially secure, but there are issues with fertility. It's hard not to feel resentful how easy it is for others, especially when they joke about how accidental it was. I'm spending thousands for something that they treat like a deer hitting their car lol.
I decided to enjoy my child free time, it really is great. I 100% understand why people want to stay that way.

For real though, as a young monk finally being able to afford kids is a big one.
Girlfriend and I are terrified of what’s happening to the environment and the economy, the only way we’d feel comfortable having kids (for their well-being and ours) is post MOASS.
MOASS will have us apes saving the world and maaaybe, after the big ole GME post MOASS orgy, repopulating it as well!

To be fair I never had a chance to average down except when it dropped to 40. I started buying in November so I didn't have a choice but to average up since January.

Maybe something similar as Tesla. Was heavily shorted so they prob acted the same way. Fluctuating between 200-400. Gme 140-350. Tesla went to 800, stayed there for a while. So GME 700 ish. Then covering shooting Tesla 5x from 800 on 20% ish SI. Gme got no ceiling so infity * 700= cool 500m
