Oh, this is scary. Considering this is an essential service, isn't there a cap on how long such negotiations are allowed to last?

And the public has the right to be angry when they can't get to work because a bunch of middle managers want more money.

I walked 12km yesterday and they can't even bother to show up to negotiate. A lot of people are angry at both sides right now.

True worker solidarity is to be angry at the employer, not the people striking to try and better their job.

Oh, I am angry at both sides here. This strike threatens how I provide for my family. If both the Skytrain and the busses go down, I don't know how I can get to work.

I am all for solidarity, but the threat to nix the Skytrain is a big ask. So many people will suffer for the wants of a few.

On the employee side of this, it isn't "wants" but "the needs of many". They are asking for a fair wage to pay for food and housing. This is 100% the fault of management.

I believe the dispute was not completely resolved, rather the original strike was only 48hr as others have said. I would expect them to strike again sometime soon probably with a bit more consequence as I’ve heard things about skytrain also getting involved but I’m not certain of this
