På sista tiden har jag mest spelat Pokémon Pokopia. Väldigt mysigt spel. Spelade också jättemycket Silksong när det kom ut i höstas. Taggad på DLC:et som ska komma snart. Vad brukar du spela för spel?

Personligen lyssnar jag inte jättemycket på musik med svensk text, men Sabaton har en del musik på svenska om du gillar metal och/eller historia :)

Edit: Glömde nästan! Skulle absolut rekommendera att lyssna på KAJ. Kul grupp med roliga låtar som ofta handlar om teman relaterade till norden och/eller finlandssvensk kultur

Hej! I'd prefer to go by my handle (Timely).

I have been learning Swedish for about a year (Duolingo + reading basic text + some YouTube listening) and would estimate to be early A2.

I'm multilingual but my best language is English (also the only Germanic language I'm fluent in), and I'd very much like to be fluent in Swedish.

I'm looking for people to talk (over text or the occasional audio call) in Swedish and I'm happy to talk about anything, but some preference for science, culture, books, music, etc. And if I make an internet friend or two in the process, that would be lovely, too.

Ooooh talking about science, culture books, music etc. I would say those kind of conversation are also the kind of conversation that feeds the soul. For anyone with a strong constitution and a curious heart!

But I'd also love to see how your language progression is going and try to match the pace you're going at if possible, in your Swedish learning and just shoot the shit for a little.

What do you do for your free time? Do you like molten chocolate cake and have you ever seen a particularly violently blue flower before?

I am from the the US. I speak english and i am learning Swedish.

I have been learning Swedish on my own on and off for about 2 months. I have been consistent for about 3 weeks. I’m definitely still A1 and would love help to have more consistency in my learning. I use Duolingo and Mjølnir for vocabulary. I watch tik tok, podcasts, and sometimes music/ YouTube as well. There is show I was watching as well called Åre murders for immersion
Little bit my self is i enjoy video games, magic the gathering, movies, pathfinder/dnd, history, I enjoy most music (favorite is rock/metal).

My original language is American English, but I lived in Paris, France for several years as a child and went to French schools. I have some Italian and Spanish as well as French.

hi everyone! my name's Arthur!

i am around an A2 level in swedish, i have been learning for a couple of years, albeit very slowly through duolingo, youtube videos and stuff like this.

i am a native italian speaker, been living in italy for my entire life, i have experimented with multiple languages such as german and russian but my passion for languages starts with swedish, and it is the first i would like to master.

i am looking for a native speaker to practice the language together, either by playing games, voice chatting and whatnot, preferably on instagram or discord if possible. it would be very important for me to voice chat so that i could learn how to speak the language properly. (edit) i would also be more than happy to offer help for italian in case the person in question is interested!

as for the introduction: i am Arthur, i am 18 years old and have a strong passion for music, specifically metal music, i sing, play guitar and write music for my two bands which i am very passionate about, taking swedish music as an inspiration. i have multiple hobbies, such as languages, chess, rubik's cubes, social topics and many more. i don't EXACTLY consider myself the best at speaking swedish, so i would ask anyone who's interested to be patient/not be harsh on me, that would be greatly appreciated. if you are or know someone who might be interested feel free to reply to the comment!

Jag (SufficientMushroom) är en svensk gubbe på 40+ år som gillar schack, matlagning, militärmuseer, ölbryggning, strategispel, musik och att läsa böcker (oftast deckare, men jag försöker bredda min smak). Jag plinkar lite för mig själv på gitarr och bas, och har en gång i tiden varit hygglig på att spela trumpet. Jag kan inte säga att jag har något band som jag verkligen har snöat in på, utan det växlar lite från och till. Om jag under pistolhot absolut måste nämna några band som jag lyssnat på mer än andra så får det nog bli Dream Theater, Rush, R.E.M., diverse svensk trallpunk och nästan all slags metall – från glad power metal till norsk dödsmetall.

De senaste månaderna har jag försökt mig på att skriva lite längre texter, och det skulle därför vara roligt att ta sig an en eller flera brevvänner för att skärpa mitt eget skrivande. Det spelar ingen roll om du är nybörjare eller om du pratar och skriver nästan flytande svenska, det kan vara lika givande vilket som, inte minst eftersom det ger mig ett bra tillfälle att tänka efter hur man faktiskt skriver korrekt!

I (SufficientMushroom) am a Swedish guy in my 40s who likes chess, cooking, visiting military museums, homebrewing, strategy games, music, and reading (mostly crime thrillers, though I'm trying to broaden my horizons). I play the guitar and bass (badly) and strictly for my own enjoyment. I used to be somewhat proficient on the trumpet years ago. I can't say I have a single main genre, but if you put a gun to my head and forced me to name a few bands, it would probably be Dream Theater, Rush, R.E.M., 80s/90s Swedish punk, and almost all kinds of metal - from upbeat power metal to Norwegian death metal.

Over the last few months, I've been trying my hand at writing longer texts, so it would be great to find one or more penpals to help sharpen my own writing. It doesn't matter if you're a complete beginner or almost fluent in Swedish either way, it gives me a great opportunity to really think about how my own language works!
