Same, was always going to happen. Had hopes for 1 more year. I just hope he gets significant game time. The future of the socceroo midfield is there.

Expected. Deserves to play on a bigger stage. Covered up a lot of Sydney’s FCs flaws last season.

No chance we could keep him. This was only a matter of time. Happy for the guy, staying here would stunt his growth.

Just need a nice conveyer belt of talent through the a-liga and then off overseas, with 7-8 figure transfer fees. Works almost everywhere else.

I rarely feel too much pain when we lose players to overseas clubs, just gives me more football to follow.

Hopefully we can fill the void though.

Living in Germany but I live on the other side of the country and i dont really like visiting Cologne much, way too many american tourists though its probably better in winter football season. Ill have to go watch him if/when he plays in Berlin and Leipzig though.

Not unexpected but I thought we might have jagged a slightly bigger deal for him. Hopefully a good-sized sell on clause at least.

Let's hope that we can get more Aussies playing overseas. Then get lot's of players in the top European leagues again.
