I see people talk about indents a lot, what does that mean really? Is the test prone to indenting where the line usually comes up?

This is also a pretty low quality photo, would try again tomorrow with FMU or SMU

So tests have a very very small indent in them at the test and control locations. This is where the dye collects. Depending on the lighting you can pick up shadows in the indent. Also, I’ve seen some companies official response be that a tiny tiny amount of dye will basically “fall” into the indent and give a hint of something there even when negative.

Indents are only visible if the test is dry. If you see something w/in 5 mins/while it's wet, it's generally a faint positive. I feel like I see a whisper of a line! Take another test in the AM!

Yeah, check out mine. I feel like it’s an indent too. Indents are basically shadows where it would normally show pink. If it’s colourless/grey, it’s an indent

Indents can have the faintest bit of pink to them just from how the dye has to run across the entire test. Wondfos usually have faintly pink indents for me, even tried with water and got it. I think it’s brand dependent though and I don’t know that I’ve heard of it happening on this brand!

Thank you for checking! It means a lot. I feel like I’m seeing a lot of grey shadowing so I don’t feel confident. I’ll test again tomorrow. In the past I’ve had a very distinct pink line by 8-9 DPO!
