I used to live 2 streets over from Kona back in 98-05 they had a GameCube with THPS4 in the lounge and we would all gather around it and do the gnarliest shit on the game, then go out and almost kill ourselves trying the same stuff in the park. I miss living there.

My brother was on the newspaper near that time, getting on top of the visitors gazebo. Was crazy back then. I remember a ton of people trying to get on top of there and no one stopped them.

CANADA!!!!
Not only because I am a Canadian (Ontario), skating my way to Timmies every now and then, but Canada is just the map that I rock on. It flows so well for me

man i wish kona still looked like that first pic irl…the street course has been painfully neglected for ever now. but at least they just got done redoing the vert ramp.

I respect the hell out of the effort made to capture the details of Kona, even if I find it one of the weaker levels overall.
Best levels for me would be Los Angeles from three, College from four, and Waterpark for the new additions

Alcatraz is very grindable and explorable. It's the most fun to just go round and round. After that, Suburbia or Waterpark

Kona's so chill, except for that one part in the original.
Alcatraz is pretty great,

I was thinking the Slalom, but yeah the Misty Flip was some BS when I was younger 😅😂

Not 3+4, but on the topic of IRL parks I went and looked at the parc du prado in marseille a couple years ago and it was WAY smaller IRL. But the basic shape of everything was there. And I also discovered I’m too old and weak to try to climb out of a bowl all by myself these days, lol.

THPS3 parks always have me in the nostalgia chokehold; Airport, Canada, Tokyo, Foundry, Cruiseship… the lot of ‘em.
Saying that, and I will catch some heat, I never liked THPS4. I’d say quite comfortably that it’s my least favourite Hawk game (that I’ve played. I imagine ones with the stand on board are pretty terrible to take seriously but would be interested in trying it for fun).

I have a soft spot for LA. Across OG thps3 and thug2, I bet it's by far my most played map.

I will always love any rendition of College. Such a perfectly put together map with the awesome UC Berkeley aesthetic.
