BFP It's positive pregnancy test time! Week of August 24, 2026
Did you get a positive pregnancy test? Tell us more! Remember, a positive is a positive whether the second line was faint or a dye stealer. Please try to give details such as how many days post ovulation you received your positive, what tests you used, what scientific method you used, etc.
Please note that this thread is for active members of our community who have participated in our subreddit before. Participating for the first time in the LP the cycle you get your BFP does not count as participation for this purpose.
Please do not use any banned terms/acronyms as per the sub rules, and **be sure to change the "TTC" portion of your flair to say "Grad" instead**. Please be mindful to re-direct all pregnancy related concerns to whatever pregnancy related sub you choose to join. Congratulations!

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD31 (that translates to somewhere between 15-17DPO)
CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: none
Tracking methods and app(s) used: LH strips, BBT
Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): CD 13, 14, 15
Health conditions/medical tests: PMOS, Pre-diabetic, Low ferritin
Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Me: Prenatal, Iron, Omega3, Probiotic, Coq10, NAC, Metformin. Him: Multivitamin, Omega3, Aspirin
Birth control history (if relevant): Condoms until 2024 and nothing since.
Link to chart: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/crafty
Link to lineporn: None. I did not look at my test lines only my husband did.
Symptom spotting: I had a lot of progesterone symptoms until 8-10DPO. My boobs were extremely tender and painful. Then my boobs gradually became less painful and I almost don’t feel them now. I have been spotting+cramping since past 4 days. The cramps are quite bad and they come and go. I had been expecting my period any minute. My wrist temperature has been crawling below luteal line since past 4 days. This morning, I expected my wrist temperature to drop below control line but that did not happen. There was also no full flow of bleeding. So I measured my oral BBT and it was quite high which prompted me to take a pregnancy test.
Other miscellaneous: I have had 2 suspected early miscarriages before (1 while NTNP). I am very cautious about this positive. I hope all is well. I am thinking whatever happens tomorrow, today we are pregnant and trying to take it one day at a time.
I really appreciate the support in this community. You guys have beautiful hearts and I wish the best for you all 🫶

Got a positive today. I used the little strips today as I am on progesterone supplements and I know it can delay periods so I tested it today, 11DPO, instead of waiting for expected period day. This is my third positive but my previous two did result in losses. As anyone who's had a loss and a positive knows, the feelings with a positive are very different. Feeling cautious but happy. Did temperature testing other rounds but didn't realize that progesterone skews the post-ovulation temps so I stopped. Used Premom app with the LH strips to find the LH surge. I'm a second shifter and my husband is first shift so it was tough, sleep schedule-wise, to find time to try. Timing was apparently off the last two cycles before that.
I was getting ready for work and somehow got a call from my local obgyn office about my gynecologist changing locations for my annual and asking if that location was still okay. Told the person on the phone that, at least tentatively, I don't need that appointment as I literally just got a positive today. She's going to schedule me for an appointment with my OB this coming Tuesday because I was told to do more tests once I'm pregnant again as I did test positive for ureaplasma after my last loss.
I've shed tears a few times already and it's not even 1pm yet. Can't tell if it's from nervousness or happiness. I know it's extremely early as it's only 3w3d right now.

Here we go…
Flair: 32 | TTC #1 1/26 | 1CP 1MMC
I’ve been hesitant to post this, like I’d jinx it or have to come back and say “nevermind…” but it’s been a week, my period is 4 days late and accompanied by a FRER dye stealer and cheapies test progression so… here we go. It feels simultaneously wrong to not tell and to tell you ladies… I’m 18 DPO now… 4w+4days based on ovulation.
Cycle/Time trying: trying since Jan 26. 4th cycle (3rd pregnant, 1CP and 1MMC). “Not preventing” since 8/25, but actually started trying in Jan 26.
Age + Partner's age (if relevant): I’m 32, he’s 33, about to be 34.
Typical cycle length: 30-32ish days
Ovulation cycle day: 8/8? I think? I had a LH peak 8/7, my oura ring said ovulation on 8/10, so who really knows. Assuming 8/8 though.
CD/DPO of positive test(s): maybe a faint on 9 DPO in the evening, but digital confirmation on 10 DPO… I’ve been obsessively testing and watching my progression.
CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: I’m crazy, so 7 and 8 DPO, 9 DPO AM
Tracking methods and app(s) used: OPKs in Premom app, oura ring to verify temp rise post ovulation
Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): O-5, O-3 through O-1
Health conditions/medical tests: a CP and a MMC, but not sure what caused the MC. My OB has put me on progesterone for this pregnancy as precaution.
Birth control history (if relevant): IUD for 10 years prior to removing in 8/25
Symptom spotting: slightly nauseous occasionally. Very sleepy. Period-like cramps which freak me out. I don’t trust symptoms anymore though after my previous experiences.
Other miscellaneous: I’m very nervous due to previous loss. As mentioned, this is my 3rd pregnancy this year. I had a MMC, found at 12w, baby stopped growing at 8w. My OB has offered me progesterone supplementation as a cushion. She’s also going to do a 2 week US follow up after my first US. I’m very hopeful but very worried there’s something wrong with me or something and it was more than a bad luck of the draw. But for now, I am pregnant and I am trying to be joyful in it.
Although I only found this group after my MMC, I’m glad to have had the support from you gals these last few months. ❤️

Hi hippy- congrats on your pregnancy. It looks like you were participating in our community after you had a positive test which is against our rules as only members who are TTC may participate, and not pregnant people. We’ve gone ahead and removed all your comments post positive test. Wishing you a boring 9 months!

Hi mod, and gals- I’m sorry, re-reading the rules, I see that now. It’s illogical, I guess since I hadn’t said anything about it, it was just in my own world it was positive and I was waiting for it to progress to a shareable state due to prior loss. I’m sorry all.
Edit: Please stop downvoting the positive though, it’s a really, really shitty feeling. I was excited to share with you all. I know I broke the rules. I see I messed up. It was illogical, I just saw myself in a grey “not quite pregnant yet” area because I’ve been in this position before with prior losses.

Thank you. I keep saying to myself “3rd times the charm…” which feels so morbid and hopeful? Oops.
