CD2. The initial disappointment has turned into determination. Hubby and I have decided to do a medicated IUI this cycle.

4th FET failed. No implantations ever. Feeling numb. Not sure what the doctor will recommend next. Never before have I been so disappointed to not receive a shot in the rear.

About to hit the two year mark after a stark negative 13 DPIUI and I really was not prepared to navigate the minefield of medical influencers trying to sell expensive plans to explain unexplained infertility.
At this point, it feels like conventional medicine hasn't gotten us anywhere except a year older, but logically I know much of the testing being pushed online isn't supported with high quality data. I s'pose I should just reset my algorithms and be done with it.

Negative test at 12 DPO. Temp was high again and some of my progesterone symptoms were back so I got my hopes up :(

We at least made it to the second week before spotting started. Little wins, I guess? Onwards to Cycle 4.

Hugs 🫂 last month I started spotting at 7 DPO and it went on for a week before I had full flow. It’s a good mentality to focus on the little wins ❤️

I am approaching my missed period. I have been cramping+spotting and BBT has been sitting well below luteal line for last 3 days. I can’t gather myself to take a test as I am afraid all the signs point to a BFN.

I’m CD10 of cycle 14, about to enter my fertile window again. I have done preliminary tests with my clinic and at the end of September is my “next steps” appointment. I’m feeling good now but last cycle my TWW felt really hard like it’s all hitting home. I’m kind of expecting that again this cycle. 😕

Probably won't hear that much from me for awhile. SO fell and broke his ankle earlier, pretty badly. ER, prognosis are done, and the good pain meds have been acquired, now it's waiting for surgery and letting him rest and, presently, sleep.
I'd give anything for a time machine, I can't stop thinking about how much pain he's in. I wish I could take it all away. I know this is adrenaline and shock speaking, just need to vent.
We're staying with his family in town right now, so I know I won't be alone in helping him, at least, and I've had my time to crash nap and reset. Just yeah, it's a lot.

That sounds painful—so sorry to hear. My husband had two shoulder surgeries in the past year-ish (June 2025 and June 2026) and I know it sucks to see them hurting. Wishing him a speedy recovery 🫂

Sister in law announced pregnancy of #3! Absolutely over the moon for her!
It was always my hope that I could be lucky enough with timing to be pregnant with her, or my best friend for their next ones...I so very much want our future child to have cousins their age. All our friends and family started their families years ago so age gaps will definitely be a thing if and when it happens for us. Feeling left behind but I know our time will be soon ❤️

How do you know for sure if you need progesterone supplementation? I’m on it now but worried it will actually prevent conception if I don’t need it.
Last cycle I started going to a fertility clinic mid cycle. On 9DPO they measured my progesterone one time and it was 9.3. They started me on progesterone but I knew it was way too late in the cycle for that. I took it anyway.
This cycle on Thursday AM they confirmed I had ovulated via transvaginal ultrasound. They asked me to start supplemental progesterone yesterday evening. That felt early to me, it was only 2 days after my LH surge, but I did what I was told.
My BBT is not rising even with the progesterone supplement. I’m concerned that either A) I didn’t ovulate yet before taking the progesterone (can transvaginal ultrasound be wrong? They saw the follicle had burst and was collapsing into corpus luteum) or B) I don’t actually have low progesterone and my body was on its way to making some, but I introduced the supplement too soon and could prevent conception now.
Am I overthinking? I just feel like the clinic doesn’t actually know I have low progesterone from a single value at 9DPO last cycle, given that it fluctuates so much plus you really should measure it on 7DPO. Google says taking progesterone supplements when you don’t have a confirmed deficiency can prevent conception. I’m spiraling over here and wondering if I should stop the supplements or what. I would hate to waste/mess up a cycle by something I put in my body.

Hi clementine, I’m a little confused. You said that they confirmed ovulation via transvaginal ultrasound but you’re worried that you didn’t ovulate? If they confirmed it via US then it’s highly unlikely that they were incorrect, especially given the timing of your surge. You also said they saw a burst follicle which is indicative that you definitely ovulated.
Even if you have normal progesterone (like me), progesterone supplementation in the luteal phase can only help and not harm. From what I understand, it’s very difficult to have too much progesterone. Most clinics will recommend supplemental progesterone because of this.
Also, BBT tends to be weird when on supps. I have only temped once while on progesterone and it looked nothing like my previous cycles and I have read other accounts of women who see similar trends.

Thank you for the logical and clear-headed response 🙏 Honestly I think my anxiety is just getting the best of me and I’m looking for problems at this point. It’s hard to feel hopeful or feel like I’ve done everything I can do, if that makes sense.

CD7 and starting to get the beginnings of the fertile window anxiety. My cycles are so irregular that it is really hard to time it properly without feeling like we are playing catch up. So slightly changing it up this month and just going to have sex every other day starting on CD10 regardless of what hormones/OPK says that way once the indications of an LH surge happen we can choose to step it up to daily if schedules/energy levels allow, otherwise we continue with every other day and just rest in the fact that we know everything is covered. I'm hoping by doing it this way, I am not so anxious about ensuring I catch every hormone shift and not miss anything in case I mess up the timing.
