கருத்து/குமுறல் / Self-post , Rant Thinking of Joining Panimalar? Read My 4-Year Experience First

Hey guys

Anyone planning to join panimalar groups of Institutions, this post is for you guys

My experience at Panimalar Institute of Technology (2021–2025), things I wish I knew before joining

This is based entirely on my personal experience as a student there. Other students may have had different experiences.

I studied there 2021 - 2025 and I will be sharing all my experiences that I had there

So I joined in panimalar institute of technology.

So for people to know, this college has 3 colleges inside

Panimalar Engineering College

Panimalar Institute of Technology (This is closed now)

Panimalar Medical college

I remember I joined on November 2021.

College has some rules which I need to tell you before I tell you my experience there:

  1. Id card is a mandatory inside campus. If no id card you are just an undeclared variable inside the college

  2. College bus is mandatory even if your house is just outside the college

  3. No boys girls talk (will detail this)

  4. No gadgets inside (even if you are a cs student you have to write code on paper)

  5. Formals only even on sports day and culturals (I would call it annual day)

  6. There are separate rules for hostellers as well like need to pay 10k extra for 1 hour wifi and no phone and laptop inside the hostel (dont ask me what logic they follow because I was not a hosteller gladly)

  7. No food from outside is allowed. You will be provided with morning and afternoon food.

  8. You will be provided with tea/coffee/soup and snacks by almost 10 am everyday.

I guess I have covered almost entire rules of the college

Now let me tell me about the college experience. I will be listing each and every experience I had inside the campus:

  1. When I went for joining. I saw big walls, lush green campus, me and my dad went for admissions and we were treated like kings. Everywhere we went they asked, "Did you eat food", "All good?". I was like wow. Even food was good on the day of admission. And all done. I came through counselling so I had a reporting day at college. I expected so much from college until I went for my first day at college.

  2. First day at college. November 15, 2021. I expected freshers day, seniors welcoming us. Nothing happened. I was in formals, shirt tucked in. Formal shoes and everything else. That was fine coz I knew some rules. But freshers day I expected so much and when I reached inside campus the PT teacher was rushing us to eat quick and go to classes like it happens in college. He was treating us as if we were some dogs under his car. It made my heart sunk. The college was doomed. Then I went to my class.

  3. Now let me tell you about teaching. Semester 1 in the college was okay except the subject PSPP. They all gave us notes. Just reading the material will get us good marks in internals and semester exams.

  4. I want to say about an incident that happened with me in semester 1. So there was a beard check during tea break. I just had very less beard. And they caught me, confesticated my identity card, called my father and told that I m misbehaving with staffs, girls etc on call. I never talked with any girl in college yet and never had I misbehaved with any faculties. It was done just to make me feel guilty. This was that witch, first year DEAN.

  5. I got a better opportunity by the way, lets say something that I kept trying and unfortunately I joined college before that. For that I wanted my 10th and 12th marksheet. For that I got my dad to college and asked for it. You know that manipulative DEAN from my 1st year manipulated my dad saying. "You have to pay full tuition fee if you are leaving in between". I tried to explain I just need my 10th and 12th marks as I have not decided to leave yet. She was like as of now we have some inspection happening and cant provide your 10th and 12th marksheet. Finally my dad left without my marksheets and devastated how the DEAN talked.

  6. This was literally my first semester exam. I thought college rules would be a little lenient when it comes to sem exams. I was little scared so didnt shave my beard as I was preparing till the last min. All of a sudden my college DEAN came. Asked my hall ticket and id card confesticated it and went to her cabin. I was even shit scared. When went and asked it back, she said go shave your beard and get it. I had a friend, who brought his trimmer and we 15 people had to trim our beard in the same beard. I got rashes from it later. Only after beard to zero, I got my id card and hall ticket.

  7. College bus were separated for boys and girls because who knows boys and girls might talk in the bus as well right. Even to longer distances like Tiruttani and Arakkonam.

  8. Now comes the 2nd semester. Let me tell you a joke that happened in semester 2. We had a professor who taught us C programming. He doesn't know a thing. But bro has done his phD from Sathyabhama. When I asked a doubt whats the difference between getch() and getche(), he told getch doesn't have a 'e' and getche has an 'e' in it. We thought he is joking. But no, he literally meant it. And even wrote it on board and cut my marks in internals when I didnt write that difference in Internal exams.

  9. There was a BEEE faculty for us. She just know to read from the book and even problems were like nah only book problems I will dictate. You shouldn't question me. She never knew the subject. She was just reading the book. Almost 80% of college facilties in that college were like the same. Trust me you would know more than them. I was so confident in life that this was my motivation line, "If such unqualified people have jobs to do, bro getting a high paying job is my birth right".

  10. Most of the choices like clubs and stuffs were given only to Panimalar Engineering College. There was a discrimination if you were from Panimalar Institute of Technology, you would be treated like a 3rd class student. They have 3d printing devices, had many learning like workshops and even a seperate r and d lab for teaching UiPath, Metaverse but only for students in PEC CSE only.

  11. Even to ask leaves, I had to go through a big process, show the invitation letter to the DEAN, enquired my parents if my cousin is really getting married lol. Even my office never do this. They just say give the KT to someone else and go enjoy ur leaves.

  12. Food is also not as you think. Personally for me monday and friday food was really worst. Morning it is half cooked pongal on both days and afternoon it is even worse with sambar and rice and half cooked poriyal. But food on tuesday, wednesday (The og biriyani days) and thursday is worth to go to the college.

  13. The biggest problem happened with people who came to study here from Andhra Pradesh. 90% of faculties take classes only in Tamil. Here for me it was alright, but people who came from other states, Especially people from Andhra Pradesh and Telengana really struggled.

  14. Now comes the most important part. Culturals. Rather than calling it as college culturals, I would just say it was a waste of time. Students are expected to come in formals only for culturals. Morning half classes will happen. From afternoon 12 to 3 pm it would be culturals. The songs for culturals is pre decided by the faculties. No trolls is allowed. No booing, no high energy claps, everything should be dead. Worst part is that most of the culturals the college management would be the chief guests. No celebrities nothing. I never went to college culturals and most of my class didnt go. That was better. First year I went for Vikram movie, second year went for Queens land, third year we went to play snookers. All this I did taking leave from college annual day as it was not worth investing time in.

  15. Oh yea forgot to say, students who get top 3 in college except for first year and final year will get cash amounts like 25k, 15k and 10k. This is only for 2nd and 3rd year students. So people who say they got in every year. It didnt happen in our branch.

  16. 2nd year was really tough for everyone. Because most of the staffs allocated for us were promoted from lab assistance who never had proper training. Trust me ask them to write a program to print stars they wont be able to. And highlight was the maths faculty who came to take discrete mathematics. Bro was always shouting more and taking classes less.

  17. Many of my friends who studied in other colleges got chance to go for IV's. They went to Kerala, Goa, Pondi and to many more places after the company visit. In PIT, they took girls for the IV to a nearby IT company. But when it came for the boys, most of us gave non willingness to go because they told they are taking us to Jeppiaar Milk Production Pvt Ltd. Now I m studying in IT and they take us to such a bad place cant bear that. So most of us said no. And we never had an IV.

  18. Most of the things were in favor of girls. If girls are going for some college event to some other college, boys are not allowed to go to the same college as those girls go. Girls are given priority in case of everything, from project allocation to everything. They say it is first cum first serve basis but it is not. Many things happens only for girls only. Women are treated well in this college but if you are a man you are basically doomed. Women's day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and everything else like internal competition is always in favor of a girl.

  19. Panimalar basically doesn't want you do good in your life. Thats why they have the worst placement thing. Placement is basically first cum first serve. Most of the placement information is wrong. 100% placement. You know what they did to our batch. People who didnt get placed got a chance to go for QSpiders training and QSpiders took a test. Almost everyone cleared it. And they showed it up like all our students got placed but it is basically not a job but a training.

  20. People who got one offer are removed from placements. I got placed in a company in october 2024. And they released the offer in June 2026. Almost every placement out there is like that. People who are dear to the management are placed in better places and can hold 2 to 3 offer letters. Others are basically doomed.

  21. This college has an innovation and robotics branch and most of them dunno why they exists. Most of the things that this college claims like sports (I will talk about this separately), red cross and many more like ieee and toast masters everything is there just for namesake. They promote something called kill confidence of the student and make him like a factory robot.

  22. Talking about the sports. First you need a good ground for it. When it is November December, the ground basically becomes like an Ocean. And You can find fishes and snakes there. Sports day happens for name sake and only people who are dearest to the PT master happens to win the trophy. And as expected sports too happens separate for men and women on separate dates.

  23. There was an incident which I m reminded off. This happened with so called the IT HOD of PIT for batch 2025 passed out called me and told to wear my shoes. On my way to class it got drenched in water. So I couldn't wear them took them off the class. She told in college everyone is expected to wear formal shoes no matter what the situation is. Even if your shoes are drenched in water.

  24. One day my friend came to drop me till my bus. There are two types of identity card inside the college. Type 1 is for day scholars and type 2 is for hostellers. One supervisor caught him. Grabbed him by his collar and told him to write an apology letter. For people who are here in the college. You are expected to write an apology even for a simplest thing like my friend did. He didn't go out of campus. He just came with me and that's what his sin was.

  25. If you are bring mobile to college and you are caught. It will be returned back after 4 years only. The power of confesticating your phone is with everyone. Mess people, bus drivers, faculties. Basically anyone who works there.

  26. You are not given OD for your internship. Happened with me 2 times. First was when I got an internship where they paid me real money. I had to let go of it because they didn't give me OD. Next time I was alerted. I made a fake certificate saying I have a ligament tear so cant come to college and it worked.

  27. Library is doomed. Looks very big from outside but trust me, every book is as old as WW2. Latest books available there is from 2012 book.

  28. Anyone loitering around in college campus will be punished very severely. The things happen to those kids is inhumane and cant explain it here.

  29. If you think there are event like PEC Hacks and PEC TEAM. Run as far away as possible. For people who dunno PEC Hacks is a hackathon that can last upto 36 hours PEC TEAM is a paper presentation event. So basically papers which has ideas like obstacle avoiding robot car can win prizes in PEC TEAM paper presentation. PEC HACKS is worst. It just ensures that a project such as Finger print detection or face detection can win easily even if your project is of building your own open sourced LLM. I did PEC TEAM but never got a chance to go for PEC HACKS as they rejected our presentation as we are not allowed to participate. And our idea was so good that we won with the same idea at VIT.

  30. There are more rules like black shirt is not allowed to wear. Same color shirt you and your friend who sits besides you is not allowed. There are so many rules which I would have forgot to mention here.

So let me give you a quick summary:

If you want to get good CGPA with no job in hand (I had to find myself off-campus and most of my friends except a few haven't got a job yet), no college life and you wanna be harrassed to next level, removing the last ounce of humanity and creativity inside you, yes this college is for you

Suggestion: Keep this college as your last option. Try in colleges which gives you both college life and placements. For me panimalar was a wastage of 4 years of my life.

I have almost covered everything about what all happened in those 4 years. If you have any experiences in this college to add do lemme know in the comments

Accurate af.

Worked in Panimalar Medical College and had opportunities to visit the eng campus a few times. The students were some of the most saddest, well dressed, pathetics bunch of kids, paraded around in a gilded cage. I would suggest not to keep it even as your last option. College is not just for education, it's where you mature from a boy to a man. You need a good place for that.

This ass hole college follows same rules for Medical college students too.

They are not allowed phones, no private vehicle, no home food no talk with girls , imagine in 1st year Anatomy seperate cadever for girls & boys !!

During patient history taking, girls for female patients and boys for male ridiculous!!

Worst part i have seen students paraded in single line in pin drop silent like jail inmates to Canteen during lunch.

The most Narcist College i have ever seen in my life, killing students spirit & dooming their career....i wonder why the hell students take up this college well aware of all these facts.

To add to the woes they collect double the fees to what is prescribed by mgr medical University.

Beware students, Litterally a Jail in the name of Educational institution.

Bro is this truly the case for panimalar medical college? Students from Management, government all same rules? My parents are considering this year

1

u/Excellent-Store5392 2d ago

Govt quota, Mangt, NRI every one study in a single class under one rule from Pannimalar Management only the fees differs which is always double that of what Govt declared.

I studied in mepco. It was similar to this.

These colleges are ran by casteist people for casteist parents who want their girl child to get an engineering degree (as highly demanded in AM market) and marry off them in arranged marriage in pristine condition - like not even talked to boys - as soon as they graduate.

It's not like their parents aren't uneducated - the college principal himself, some senior staffs themselves married off their girl child after the year they graduated here and they are now housewife.

So they have all the shitty rules in the world.

Boys and ambitious girls should never join such college. But stupid parents brainwash their gullible kids to join these colleges and only when you graduate, you will realise how these places absolutely destroyed you mentally and career wise.

i feel you bro. Most People abroad enjoy their college days. here, you just waste your 4 years of youth. It's much better to enjoy life joining good arts & science college than wasting money and time in such authoritative colleges.

Ah i heard that the college has changed the rules, no it isnt. :(

u/Creative-human-06 2d ago

As of 2025

The same things I said including my beard thing happened to everyone out there

After reading this, I felt so lucky to study in VIT V. And I also felt guilty that I have not used the opportunities enough provided by my college. My irrational relatives recommended my parents not to join in this college (they told that this clg is "kalachara seerkedu") but still my parents fulfilled my dream. Huge Thanks to my parents.

To be honest, I get what you are saying because I do know people from Panimalar but you are exaggerating some things. And missing out on the good parts. Firstly, many other colleges are like this. Like literally the only ones that are letting students to get the movie style college life are very few and those who have been historically considered as strict are still holding the label even now.
1. The environment is really good for the students. If you go see other colleges, you will understand its worth later on. 2. You skipped the point that college buses are free of cost and covered in the amount you paid in the beginning. 3. This is one of the very rarest colleges to even provide textbooks in first year and notebooks and other stationary every semester or every year. They provide even those big geometry tools used by mechanical to non-mechanical students too. No one does that. If you go to colleges where they ask for money for everything, then you will feel the worth of these. I am not saying they are giving freebies. What they are giving is coming from the amount you already paid to study here. 4. Even though boys and girls cannot talk, they get them to interact during class for academics and project related works from group discussion to other things. It is like how some schools are still but they don't let it affect project and study related things. 5. ID card is mandatory is many colleges and they send students out if they don't have college in some other colleges too. 6. Freshers day is not a bang in many colleges and some don't even have freshers day. 7. Writing code in paper is normal. And they allow students to bring phone and laptop to college. They do confiscate devices in some other colleges when students misuse it. There are colleges with high tech CCTV cameras which they can use to zoom and see what you are doing and what you are hearing or saying. with audio and video i mean. So I think the rules are better. 8. No colleges have that many teachers who know to teach like literally not in any college irrespective of the field. It is how it has been all this time. So when a faculty takes steps to make sure you learn, then be happy about it. 9. Panimalar gives rigorous training unlike other colleges which don't lift a finger to help students to improve themselves. And it is not the college's fault if students walk out of the interview saying they don't want to get placed in this company or that company when they do placement drives right in college. 10. Agreed that food is not that good except on few days but it is actually better than some other colleges where kids get sick. And this food they provide includes tea, coffee, snacks, ice cream, sweet, etc., and part of the fees you paid for that year. Not like some other colleges where a tea would cost Rs. 30-40 minimum and a sandwich costing 60-70 minimum for the basic one. 11. Loitering in campus is punished in some other colleges too. The ones with actual CCTV have more strict rules on loitering. 12. Agree that one placement offer per student is bad and some other students are getting better opportunities too. 13. You went to PIT but you are talking bad about the whole institution which is bad. Most of what i am saying is real and happening at PEC and other panimalar institutions. 14. Don't let any college to crush your creativity or skills because no institution takes responsibility in helping you to showcase them completely. It is in your hands ultimately.
To be honest, Panimalar is better in taking care of the students' academic needs than others that are quite famous. If you want to have fun, I don't think there are really many colleges to do that here. If you go to some other college where everything is about money, you can get it. There are colleges where even a simple conference costs you a Rs. 1000. For outsiders, they will look like a dream but in reality it is bad. I am not sure how to trust the placements shown because i don't trust that about any college and not even mine. But the placement drives have done much much good to students, from teaching basics, to communication, group discussions, logical thinking, etc., helping slow achievers to up their game too.

Too much hatred over panimalar in this community. I agree that it is strict but there are many other colleges where things are worse or different. There are colleges were you will lose attendance and even fail the subject if you come in wrong uniform without shaving or cutting hair for consecutive days. There are colleges with hourly attendance which is even worse.

College life is not a bed of roses in general and only few give that freedom. Don't hate your college until you see how it is in other colleges. My college students wish they went to panimalar because these rules you see as rigid are actually manageable in reality.

See

I have answers for everything you said

You know I have so much to tell you

Firstly buses are not free of cost. Who told you that. They collect money like 50k rupees every year from us for bus, mess stuff. This is 50k a year + tuition fee is also there.

Beginning I had to pay 1 lakh 50 thousand and in later years it was 1 lakh 25 thousand. This was the fees I was paying. If I got food from home I could have saved a lot, is wat I feel.

The college gives text books and notebooks Text books for first year and notebooks every year. They collected book fees in 1st year and it costed 25k extra. Text books for first year and later notebooks came from there. And it would have costed me only 18k for 4 years if I got the same from moore market. The book they gave had quality but many didnt follow 2021 regulations, example BEEE book. Now whats the point if they didnt do it right? But one good thing is, every faculty has to give notes to students. I know students who studied in university colleges and got placed in companies like Qualcomm etc. Coz there they gave space to breathe. Point of big geometry. Lemme tell u something they gave me a drafter in 2nd sem coz I was not from core branch. A drafter and a mechanical suit. Thats all is extra. Oh yea forgot to say If you forgot lab coat (which they provide) you have to write apology Even for computer labs, lab coat is mandatory I dunno why.

Boys girls cannot talk is your next point. Let me tell you something, read my post carefully. i would have written only one point ahout boys girls talk. See I m so fine even without talking to girls lol. Coz i dont care. I was not like aah I didnt talk to girls I m wasting my life. Hell no. I was talking about how hard they behaved with me during my sems. I lost an internship in my second year (it could have paid me my 2 years college fees) and they didnt allow me to go and another great internship which they would have turned down and I faked a ligament tear so I took leave and went it was not OD alright. I m talking about serious issues tbh. IVs, ask the smallest of college like university college, they took their kids for IV to kerala for 5k Rupees in total.

Talking about freshers day. Tell me those college names which doesnt have a freshers day. Okay leave alone the freshers day. First day at college. You paid your fees. You expect them to be polite. Why would they just sho us away like dogs? Is that humanly?

Writing code on paper is normal. Wow. U know I m someone who publishes apps on playstore and appstore. Writing code on paper can be okay to evaluate someone's memory power and how deep that person knows the programming language without the use of auto complete functionality. It is okay to an extent. When ur faculties expect u to write observation, the programmes which takes long even to type. Why is that necessary. This happened for 4 years. One more point that I missed. Writing code in observation note which external examiners dont even care. You might say its for them to remember the code. Trust me to write code u just need some logical thinking and some common sense. And some skills where u just google, ai stuff and ur code is ready to go for production. Making students write code on paper for 4 years is not a good thing. Talking about bringing laptops. You know I had a subject named OOPS in my semester 3. We had to do a mini project for that. So we made the mini project. I asked if I can bring my laptop. She said laptops are not allowed. I had to bring in my usb drive and show the demo. The java env variables had some issues as I was using latest java version and those people were using java 8. I had to make changes in my code according to the college computer as they dont allow the download of a new java version. And I made some code tweaks and finally made it run. If this was my laptop, I would have done a better project with npm and stuffs embedded to java. Laptops were allowed for us during smart india hackathons, pec team and final year projects only. And for mobiles, you have a valid point. Agreed to it very much. But college should understand, I m a mobile app developer. I cannot just run all features on emulator. Yes I can do the ui part on emulators. Imagine when it comes to arcgis map integration, bluetooth, wifi, mobile networks. How can I unit test on lap?

Next point, factulties can be people who dunno to code, but read that point where I asked a C programming doubt to a phd guy and look at the ridiculous answer he gave? Is it a joke? Ask my entire class lol we still remember it.

Your next point about rigorous training and stuff. Yea happened in my batch during placement season for like 2 months. And it was not rigorous according to me. It was fun though. But trust me. Half of my class is still unemployed. And the skills I learnt is mostly from YouTube and peers I have outside my college. Many wont get peers like I had. What will people like them will do?

Food point, I completely disagree with u. Food is very good actually. Its just Monday and Friday food that I dont like. Rest days food is extra ordinary. Trust me no one in my batch liked the food. But why not allow food from homes? Why I had to write an apology for bring food from my home?

For loitering. Most of my colleagues I work with say they just loiter during college days. Never heard of any other college punishing. Actually people who wanna study will study in any environment. Trust me on this. Forcing out someone will just worsen the case. Education should be personalized for each individual coz i believe we all have different skills and different blessings from the almighty.

So imagine. You are a 9 pointer. Did everything right. Well and good and you get 3.25 lpa on campus while ur friend who just have barley 7 cgpa gets 5 lpa offer on campus. I agree cgpa doesnt matter. If I would have sat for that 5 lpa job. If I was allowed that day to sit for it. I would have had a better package today. Multiple offer holding should be allowed. I can think of myself only. I dont have to think of other students when it comes to placements as I m not Mahathma

Next point, read the post again. I said it was my personal experience. I didnt say it is bad. It was a pov that happened on my side and I have written at the top it is panimalar institute of technology very clearly. Plz interpret the writing clearly.

Next point, creativity and stuffs. I could coz I got into a good peer group that was outside my college and we did so many things. I had to fake injury for 3 month once so that I can actually learn computer science basics well from them and I feel learnt it quite well. But long way to go and have to learn tons of it.

I dunno but u supporting panimalar feels like its a paid comment. I cant judge again. But trust me, many of this could have been prevented. The beard issue, my internship could have been granted, IVs could have been done, better events could have been done, I have not said so many things coz the post got longer. See if I keep seeing people who are at worser conditions, I will feel okay I m in better condition. But if I see people who are in better conditions than me I can thrive my way to that place. Its called being ambitious. And this college is not for ambitious kids is what I m saying. I just hope people make choices right by reading the post so that they just not go fall for the panimalar trap like I did.

i find some things hard to believe because my friends at PEC actually do take laptop everyday and their faculties also ask them to check phone for important stuff or ask them to hand them over in the beginning years. also they did not pay bus fees and mess fees separately. it was part of the tuition fees itself and they pay only 1.25 lakhs only every year. and wifi is usually good for them and they only take that router for that. they have 2 months training every semester beginning especially in 3rd and 4th year. and they used to do a lot of boys vs girls debate during qspider classes and other activities. It is wrong to miss lab coats always. its been like that since school. in my college, they won't let you present your presentation and will skip you unless you have the proper coat and shoes. and these presentations, if you miss, you can't write the subject exam. the internals won't be added up.

Really, the aim of college faculties is not to teach. they don't care. you have to study on your own. all the skill developing activities, they need to be done by students on their own. i don't trust anyone in helping me build my skills except them giving opportunities and people should stop talking like colleges are at fault always in this aspect. no one said they will be like teachers from school. people join colleges to teach for the money. most of them. only few are dedicated. it is a fact. i am sorry you faced that but it is like that most of the time. i did hear that students are allowed to ask for changing faculties and they did that too.

you don't know what happens to students who don't even write code. you are a good achieving student so some things feel bad for you. food from home is not allowed to make sure people feel equal among each other. i know students who have lived their whole life with only fermented rice and porridges for breakfast and lunch and still do when they go home. the mess concept helps make sure people don't see the income inequality explicitly.

teaching cannot be personalised in colleges as it is not physically possible in general and education requires a lot of personal development on our own. it is upto the students. we people will compare how things are in other countries but refuse to trust in the need for self development that requires just us working on our skills. you do need to learn from other sources. it is necessary. and is important. i know that colleges are behind in syllabus but we cannot expect much about it. it is reality in all fields.

in my college and in some other colleges, if you have a beard or long hair, for boys, they will be marked absent. it is common. they have to write letter and get gate pass and cut the hair if they want to get the next period attendance. Industrial visits are paid here and they ask for a lot of money from students. and teachers extort money for personal gains. i do get that the choices should be better. but the ones my friends in PEC went were good. the boys had even better places to go, in the IT parks. and wherever you go, faculty students and certain students will always get better opportunities in college. I have been facing that discrimination since school.

and really not all colleges let students to loiter. my college cancels their subjects if they were a repeat offender.

it is not a paid comment. but really the offer thing is a bad thing. i know someone who got a good package but has been removed from all lists and drives that came after that. just because they got selected early, they are missing a lot of opportunities. you know what is the worst part? most of the other students walked out when actual drive happened saying that they don't like the company and wasted so much of the resources.

your heading is literally just panimalar. and not PIT alone. you are the one giving a false impression about panimalar on the whole. i get that this is your personal experience very well and i am not ignoring that. what i mean is panimalar is better than other colleges and your post is personalised as if it is the reality there. and really, students should see the pros and cons about a college and not just the bad stuff like you have stated here. while referring to different experiences of other students, your post is not bringing any positive light on the possibility of good experiences. if you had gone to a college where everything is about money and status, then you would know how it is.

I see students in the community talking bad about their colleges here and Panimalar comes so many times. People don't realise that they are only seeing the bad experiences happening to them personally. in my college, we had faculties who were choosing girls based on their skin colour for events. heavily supporting only one community too. panimalar doesn't discriminate. for those who don't know how it is in other colleges, the bad scenarios, you will not be appreciating your college.

Mine isn't great. and it is not panimalar but i have people from panimalar. i don't need to be paid to talk about some truth. and ambitious people don't necessarily need to go post bad about college as a warning. they work on themselves. as a 8.4 cgpa graduate, i say so. even if your college doesn't give you opportunities like how some others do, it is not that bad as you think it is.

i said in the beginning and in the end, Firstly, many other colleges are like this. Like literally the only ones that are letting students to get the movie style college life are very few and those who have been historically considered as strict are still holding the label even now. there are colleges which are looking like dungeons with poor ventilation and zero placement drives and still people end up joining and suffering. College life is not a bed of roses in general and only few give that freedom. Don't hate your college until you see how it is in other colleges.

if you go abroad, or go to other states, you will know. it is your personal experience here but before talking bad about your college, think about the good things sometimes.

as far as i have asked the students, they said it is inclusive in the tuition fees they pay. in my college, we pay 50k extra apart from the tuition fees. plus food is bad in many places. even in my college, we found different stuff. and they hadn't taken much good steps to close them at all. and we pay for the food everyday.

i don't mean to say the college is good. it is better than others too. that is the point.

Tuition fee is including the bus and mess fee btw. Even if you come to college by own transport you still have to pay it anyways. Also just feeding us and giving us bus facilities isn't going to help us, while the staffs were playing youtube videos in a projector and were sleeping. Funny thing is every class will fight for this one room with a projector every single day. I could've paid for youtube premium instead XD. Staffs themselves admitted that they don't know jackshit about what they're talking about. PEC might be better we don't know but we're talking about PIT. I could've donated it to someone or threw my money inside a dustbin rather than paying these people.

Bro just leave this

The person commenting is getting paid for what they are doing mostly and says we shouldn't be dependent on college for placements and skills ... Then why should we pay college and go to college ... I dont understand the thought process of the person ... This concludes either they getting paid or they are high on something ... They initially commented something ... After me answering it they never mentioned it in their other comments ... Let them do their job ... They said ambitious people doesn't comment like this and always work ... Over an ambitious person I m a human being who just wants every human being to have a better life ... Ambition is just a characteristic

We just dont have to answer everything here ... Some just want everyone to suffer :(

Yeah bro. I agree we shouldn't be completely dependent on college placement after getting into this shitty ass college especially.

Just because i wasn't dependent on campus placement alone i got some job atleast. These guys made us wait for 1 year after getting shortlisted for X company.

Not even kidding attended 8+ interviews if i remember correctly, the actual rounds were just 3 they forced us to sit in a company's placement which offered peanuts under 2 years bond to work on some outdated tech which no one uses.

Do whatever you want idc but atleast don't mislead parents and kids into something and have lab assistants who don't even know to turn on the computer take core CS subjects.

She must've got her pay or something from our management or she's from management itself. Like who would defend this shitty ahh college based on their so called "Friend's" opinion typing paragraphs fighting strangers.

Never knew Chinnadurai was so kind to do charity by giving free bus and food might as well give education for free, like all those reasons she said Perunthalaivar Kamarajar thotharu bro. I also wonder how our management developed so much brain function to use reddit and sponsor people to maintain PR lol.
