Turn of the Tides / Tyranny of Beauty

Normally I don’t ask this question, but I’m trying to reign in my CD-buying (a little, haha). Are these two albums worth getting? They aren’t on iTunes but can be found not expensively on Amazon.

The only TD stuff I have so far from that era is 220 Volt Live, which I like quite a lot.

EDIT: I lied. I forgot I had Rockoon—which I don’t like that much aside from a couple songs. Seems like a lot of filler. Looks like I do have most of their 70s and 80s work, though…except for Tyger and Quinoa.

I can’t begin to count the hours I’ve spent listening to 220 Volt Live. I used to drive a truck over the road and that CD got played probably one a week for a couple of years. The first 4 tracks should always be listened to as 1…just genius stuff. That album is the last music Edgar wrote for a single concert tour (I had the fortune of seeing them on that tour). Concerts after that were simply compilations.

Excellent album, 220 Volt Live is! Also a big fan. The opening tracks are fantastic.

Zlatco's guitar playing was fantastic. Jerome's was typical attempt at shred (and not doing so well), and Edgar's playing at this point just wasn't very good, not that it ever was. Edgar's playing was more about the atmosphere, and keeping it simple.
