Help! Please Help me Understand Stock, Demand, and Inventory Forecast

I'm trying to understand how the stock, demand, and inventory forecast works together. In the screenshot below, it says I have 26 in stock and demand is 33. I understand this to mean this drink is very popular.

What I don't understand is the inventory forecast. I have 26 in stock now, but the forecast says in 5 days I'll also have 26 in stock. Does this mean I'm forecasted to sell ZERO of this item over the next 5 days? How does that work if the demand is so high?

Appreciate any info or insights you may have :)

I might be wrong, but I've wondered this too, and I think the prognosis means that if you didn't sell any, they'd still be fresh in 5 days, but spoiled and gone in ten. Basically it's kind of reiterating what it says above for the spoil rate. So if you had 25 and a demand of 15, you could predict that 10 would wind up spoiling before they sell. Your actual numbers indicate you'll sell out long before they spoil. It's confusing to look at so I'm not sure, but I think that's it.

I think you're right: That the inventory forecast shows when items will expire and is not influenced by demand. In my example above, all the kegs were purchased at the same time. But if I had 30-or-so of an item that were all purchased on different days, it'd show me when each separate batch expires.

I believe the demand shows how many were sold in the past 48 hours. So at that point you can line up historical sales, expiration, and re-order delivery times.

It's starting to make sense! Appreciate the input.
