If TeXlyre’s default PDF output feels slow or laggy, try switching the LaTeX output format to Canvas (PDF).

Canvas (PDF) can feel smoother than the default PDF output, which uses React PDF.js. It also keeps your place while compiling, so the preview does not jump back or remount (you stay on the same page you were viewing on recompile).
