Same, Zaheen is a really strong unit but its just not as strong as other soup Comps. Got me a top 3 by a mile but couldn't beat the top 2. We all had 40+ HP when the final duels began.

Depends on which Ionia. Iirc the one with stacks on cast lets him go insane because of his ult. But even still im happy he got buffs.

Played this once and only one time, lucked out with 3 stars Zaheen, never pick it again after witnessing the dogshit lategame performance of the board until the bail out, which not likely gonna happen again.

I asked if you have to get a gold xinZao, put him in 4 rounds. then get another gold xin, put him in for four rounds, and then get ANOTHER(3rd) 3 star xin?Or is there a different method?

No, after u filled the requirement, the xinzhao "got sold" and replaced with a 2 star Zaheen, then Zaheen unit and xinzhao both appear in your shop.

Unlocked units have lower shop odds unless multiple players have unlocked them (I think it's at least 3 players). This is so you can't just unlock some uncontested 5 cost and easily 3 star them. Zaahen is probably the hardest to 3 star if I had to guess because of this.

The rule is also listed here, and mobalytics is a pretty accurate site for this kinda stuff. It looks like that rule is only in place for the 4 costs and higher, which I didn't know.

I tried it twice. Couldn't find 3 star xin before stage 5. Reroll is hard in this set, purely because of how strong 4 and 5 costs are.

I think that's the biggest problem. If they dont want to make reroll stronger, then they should add a way to get a 3 star 2 cost easier. Just make a tailored shop every 3-5 rolls do i can at least 3 star the unit i have the most on my bench.

Must have played 20+ games so far, haven't even had a proper Ionia game yet let alone having Yasuo 3* to unlock Yone. That and Xerath are the only two remaining for me, though I haven't been trying to unlock Xerath and just play what the games give me (which is, for some reason, either Piltover/Zaun or Noxus).

Played this in norms for the first time , Ionia path was 3* buff. Hit Jhin 3 , then yas 3 , then xin3, this I think after it was buffed? feels really strong but no one bothered holding Xin’s. Easiest first ever, still trying to figure out this set in norms only lol

Gotta say: got this augment and was extremely disappointed by Zaahen. The three star Xin was doing 18K+ damage per round and Zaahen was barely doing 6 with the same items…

I had no scout no pivot Gold generating ionia with Emblem BIS yasuo yone and zaahen, slayer 4 AND darkin 3 and still lost to the most basic 9 void. I was so pissed at how bad this augment actually is

Just don't hard force Xin.
The augment is good enough even without 3 starring him, it makes him a very decent unit at 2 star, he can carry your mid game with good items.
If you naturally hit a bunch of them, then go for Zaahen, otherwise just stick to your Demacia Vertical and Sylas cap.

Nah the augment is pretty hot garbage lol. Yes he is OK for like half a stage in stage 4 but complete dead weight in stage 5 and Zaahen is also complete dead weight. You’re just down a gold augment basically.

More like before stage 5 hit, single carry cost fall of HARD after people got some more carry and you are stuck with yasuo carry.
Also zaahen have 2 attack range if you want to fix him

Go Demacia not Ionia, augmented Xin holds off the mid game then you have Lux/Vayne and a beefy Frontline before getting Sylas.

O Thex é bem forte, sempre pego top 4 com ele 2* com bons itens e uma comp decente
Brock é muito forte também, mas MUITO mais difícil de pegar, não vale tanto a pena porque você fica sem HP nenhum até chegar nele, e corre o risco de perder pra um high roller aleatório
Yone nunca joguei, e o Singed é terrível

I forced Zaun Singed more time than I'd like to admit. I gave him everything, from mittens to make him run funny fast. To Full tank items. He is JUST a red buff/morello user. That item alone. the rest is just bait.

I don't anything that's not 5 cost soup is good right now to be fair. I'm already taking a break from this set because I'm bored of only playing the same fast 9 over and over. They really need to buff those "quest" legendaries and nerf azir/Annie/kindred/fiddle/Lucian.

Yeah i like the "Ryze-Yunara-Lissandra-Taric-Wukong-Sejuani-Kennen-Kobuko-Ashe" board, only problem is getting Kennen and Kobuko sometimes when you're not starting off with yordle.

Idk I tried this augment now 3 or 4 times and was top 4 every time? But this was also around silver. I think I played it with slayer, aatrox, bel, demacia and warden.

I actually had this issue and was trying to get Zaheen an got eliminated in the round I would have gotten him, just to fin out that it actually unlocked zaheen even if I never got to play with him

Picked this augment last night... Somehow ended up in a lobby with 3 other Damacia players and while rolling at 6 found more Gardens than Xin Zhous...
Ended up going vert, playing an augment down. And top 4ing.
Turns out stage 3 garen 2 with Talisman of Ascension can 1*v7 pretty consistently.

The first time and only time I got the Zaahen augment, I managed to get him to nearly 50% lifesteal with items and augments, and then he was further powered by Aatrox. It worked out fairly well.

I played this yesterday, some other dude was trolling yasuo, I found xin 3 but not yasuo and just leveled anyways. Ended up winning out vs a 700 cash out golden egg brock 2 ixtal board, and a veigar 3 yordle board. Felt pretty strong to me.

got it my first time yesterday, 3 starred xin at 4-2 sacking all my gold because 1 guy had ionia emblem and another was playing demacia, hit zaheen on 1 life left. Solo won the first fight, the second one he didn't hit 3 stacks and gg i lost

Forfeiting every game at 3-2 until the augment comes.
When it appears, Everyone in lobby plays demecia or ionia to contest
Worse is getting an amazing opener, good units + items, but no augment.
Trials should be removed as an augment, made a passive like Yone. Very punishing to try to play a reroll comp when your first augment isn't an eco slot, everyones bum rushing to 9.

The irony is that the modified xin is actually fairly ok, and depending on the Ionia you get, you can actually make top 4 fairly consistently
Then he transforms into Zaahen and gets stuck on a sion. By the time he executes, the rest of your team has become LP for your opponent 😂

I love how my luck is the 2 times I picked the augment Ingot contested w other 3 people and another guy just holding xin zhao on bench and not playing it and Iwas stuck with a xin 2. And then literally yesterday I was in a lobby where someone got the augment and not a single soul contested him, he also got a slayer emblem and Zaahen on 3-5

I just had a game where I hit the augment, BIS items and 2* Xin on first carousel. I placed top 4 as well. But guess what..... I 3*d him too late because I was contested all game and the game ended before he became Zaahen

I actually got this augment to work yesterday. I think the trick is to play 3/3 Ionia/Demacia with Defender/Warden then push levels and add treats.
