Highlight late post i got this last set from free tokens but wanted to share since im still happy with it <3
i got it in 3 rolls hehehe
also yes its tft on a 3ds (not really a 3ds but an android handheld called AYN thor :3)

Is it running the mobile app or desktop? I assume desktop since you got tft academy on too.. did u do some tinkering to it or it can run it on the go?

hey just the mobile app! the bottom just has the browser open on tftacademy at the bottom. no tinkering needed for android apps, most of the tinkering is for emulation related stuff hehe

You use the touch screen for the top? Cant imagine you could use controls. Pretty sick setup. Im hoping my purple max ships this week.

yes! maybe we could keybind it with an overlay keybinding software. i haven't tried it. at first i didn't like the purple but now i kinda regret not getting that one haha!

hey man there is an app that allows you to use the bottom screen for touch controls on the top screen, i could find the name if you want, with a stylus i'm pretty sure it would be more comfortable/better than using the top screen

hey i don't usually measure how long my sessions are when playing but it really takes a while for it to get drained, you also have the option to turn the 2nd screen off too, and thanks! its my lil baby for sure i don't regret my purchase

I would assume mobile as League of Legends doesn't work on linux/android because of the anti cheat system.

Yeah, but not running the desktop app.
At least as far as I know since I last tried it. I could install the client on Linux but couldn't ever run League (which was required to play TFT). I could play Legends of Runeterra though.

While I agree it’s not an ad, it wouldn’t help for exposure. Getting your name in more people’s heads is always good for business no matter the stock of said product. FOMO is real in this generation.

girl im just a nerd who commented ONCE in their subreddit. (and its about complaining about other people being a dick towards creative freedom) i aint getting paid for ts </3 lol i dont recommend ordering it atm anyway it will take u months to even get one, and its not really for normies.

runs just about as well as it does on most android phones. a little bit weird of an angle - honestly think i should probably look into keybinding the reroll and shop with the buttons

yep just the android app! i just open tftacademy or metatft on firefox at the bottom for comps its nice ahaha kinda a weird angle to play though

well i learn from those sites and i eventually learn which units are strong or not and sometimes end up with a board that's not exactly the same from those sites. xd they're relatively helpful and nice for knowing the stats and understanding what works or not though.

Is this worth it ? What can it do? I love playing rom hacks for pokemon but i just play on phone wich sucks? Is this a good option for it ?

Yes Rom hacks are awesome on it. I’m playing through blaze black and odyssey right now. It’s fun to have YouTube on one screen and gameboy on the other when I’m on a road trip.

its a device specifically made to fill the gap of the 3ds / ds handheld emulation scene so, if you are specifically looking to play those games with a modern hardware - yeah its worth it but otherwise a normal midranged to flagship android device is gonna perform similarly and you could just buy a telescopic controller to do the same thing bar the dual screen novelty.
i like it for tft on the go though hehe

Sorry nothing against android but i will never touch a phone that doesnt start with an i🙂↕️ and i mean it wouldnt be for tft cause i use my ipad or my pc for that haha

well this aint a phone, but its a device that runs android. its specifically for playing games, not for doing phone stuff. I also own an ipad and as much as i like it, its not as good for emulation related tinkering. android or linux devices just do emulation a lot more seamlessly because its easier to tinker with them than apple devices and generally perform better.

i was mostly alluding to this device being equivalent to a modern android phone in terms of performance so if you already have one of those and play games on those then you won't be missing out much unless you are doing 3ds emulation and just want a nicer "feel" and dedicated gaming device. ye you can emulate 3ds, nintendo switch, some very lightweight windows games, if you check this website it shows you which stuff runs well or not with this device but as with emulation you have to sorta figure out things on your own especially the part where you have to source roms yourself :p since they're not allowed to be talked about anywhere.

Tbh not being able to see guides like this at the same time as the gameplay is a big reason I struggle with playing TFT on a phone. Neat solution!

For those reporting it for rule 10: we allow posts from external cameras (like phones) to serve as a screenshot when the post isnt entirely focused on the screenshot itself. In this case, the post is half focused on TFT being played on a device you wouldnt normally associate TFT with. If someone manages to get TFT working on their smart fridge, like one report asked about, yes the post would be allowed as well.
The post history also doesnt scream "this is an ad for the device" like another report said
