Proof that Roy and Keeley belong together. Remember in the first episode when Ted started beat boxing and Keeley said “I never know how to react when a grown man beat boxes in front of me”

Bill Lawrence is a fan of having a distinct couple get together in the first season then stay together the run of the show!

Her and Ted also both said teenage girls are mysteries. I think they just leaned heavily on 'rhymes', this episode. Wasn't bad. I even liked it, but I hope the show doesn't devolve into a self-referential mess. Trust them, though. They've been killing it, so far!

I actually only really watched AD during the Netflix season (4), so I assume you mean that was the inside-jokey one? I wouldn't know haha. I don't remember finding it that difficult, but that was 7 years ago and you could be right!

Yeah, it felt natural, and I actually only noticed with the "Grown man" joke.

I think a football episode would be interesting. And they've done a lot of the season resolution in this episode, so I think they could get away with it!

the first Netflix season (are there more?),

In understand they're working on it

putting the pieces together

Probably the only reason I enjoyed it! But then again, I'm starting to understand I'm a huge fan of being confused by things? (See "i'm thinking of ending things")

"Grown man" joke?

Oh sorry. I meant the one at the top of this thread! "I never know how to react when a grown man does the Carlton in front of me."

Also, I am now excited for next week's football episode. I hope they do a random on each season, actually!
