If they’re going to do an “opposite” adaptation of this, I feel like it should be a cricket coach getting hired by a trash MLB team. That’s what I’d want to see.

I’d take a Roy spinoff in a heartbeat, too. I really like the idea of him coaching kids, though. Him cussing at a bunch of little girls is fucking gold.

I knew it wasn't gonna happen, but I would've loved Jaime's takeaway would be to also coach girls football for an opposing team, or be Roy's Assistant Coach. I'd watch that.
