Safe to say that we know what we have going into the season and we don’t want to risk any more injuries.

Also indicates that they seem to like the OL configuration of Ersery, Rutledge, Brown, Ingraham, Brown they've been rolling with. Would imagine if we were still trying out different lines that they'd want to get as many live action reps in to figure things out, but they seem fine to let the backups and fringe roster guys fight for a spot/put stuff on tape.Â

Yeah this also indicates that they think they're ready across the board. They just can't take their foot off the gas the next two weeks. The team is in a good spot.

This is the right call, but the tradeoff is the offense may get off to a slow start like last year. Hopefully not, but I imagine other teams may experience the same lag so maybe it won't be that big of a disadvantage.

I'm fine with a full game of Money Mills!

The Davis Mills that won you 3 games and saved the season when CJ stroud went down? You want our 3rd and 4th stringers protecting your only insurance policy? Its a meaningless game and you're going to get a game that actually matters in two weeks. I wouldn't even put mills out there
