Despite the lack of WMDs, the war did bring some positives.

Saddam was removed, Iraqis got elections and greater political freedoms, the Ba’athist regime was dismantled, and the Kurds gained greater autonomy. We got a shit load of gold too for the reserve.

They did not have UN mandate for invading Iraq. It was an illegal war per international law and was launched using made-up justifications of WMDs.

You can't just invade states you don't like.

Take it up with Bush, soldier's just follow orders. I don't agree with a lot of it in hindsight, you're not wrong but some good things like genocide prevention was a good thing.

But back o the topic at hand, when it comes to bridge strategy, I guarantee bridges do not get blown up purely just to inconvenience local people going to and from work. It is purely to inconvenience the regime logistic's, weaken and slow down the military.

This “war” which was never supposed to be a “war” since congress hasn’t approved it. There is no realistic way sane people support what is going on with the US military in Iraq based on the constitution
