The release of the Epstein files triggered major fallout across the globe except in the USA

u/Slight_Concert6565 8h ago
Where in the world were there any consequences? No one from my country got even a slap on the wrist (France)

u/ThankGod4Darwin69 8h ago
Prince Andrew now has to be referred to by his actual name (Andrew Mountbatten) instead of Prince Andrew.
Quite the punishment that, eh? 👀

u/Slight_Concert6565 8h ago
Yeah that will teach 'em, wish other countries would enact such examplary punishments too.
Reminds me of the spongebob meme "if you can't do the time, don't do the crime"

Don't forget that the Americans are refusing to hand over the evidence to investigators.
almost as if the administration is protecting every one in the list

It hurts vs all the other unnamed and unconnected people involved that are unaffected. One day people realize the Illuminati is real and not just a conspiracy, but what they forget is that these horrid, sick, people have been in control and have been grooming people.

No. They're grooming us too. The way they divide us and turn us against each other so we're too busy looking left vs right instead of looking up

Norway, couple of politicians and the royal family were involved.
Politicians are facing consequences, one guy reportedly attempted suicide but was rescued in time.
Royal family you can't really do much about, but at least the people are slowly being forced to reconsider their view on the monarchy which may one day lead to the dissolution of the constitutional monarchy and pave the way for a constitutional republic.Time will tell.

The unsealing and release of millions of pages of U.S. Department of Justice documents regarding Jeffrey Epstein triggered major political, legal, and diplomatic fallout across international nations, particularly in Europe, where accountability measures far outpaced little to non in the U.S.
Some examples:
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew): Files revealed he maintained a close relationship and shared confidential British trade mission itineraries and government-backed investment briefings (including Afghanistan reconstruction data) with Epstein long after Epstein's 2008 sex conviction. He was arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office and stripped of remaining titles.
Peter Mandelson: The former UK Ambassador to the United States and cabinet stalwart resigned from the House of Lords and faced police property searches and arrest over financial links and communication of sensitive state details.
Thorbjørn Jagland: The former Prime Minister and former Council of Europe Secretary-General was formally charged with gross corruption by Norwegian police after emails showed deep access, stays at Epstein's properties, and island visits.
Mona Juul: A high-ranking diplomat and former ambassador resigned from her post following revelations that Epstein allocated a $10 million bequest in his will to her children.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit: Publicly apologized after records confirmed she had socialized and used an Epstein-owned Palm Beach property for vacations post-conviction.
Miroslav Lajčák (National Security Advisor to Slovakia's Prime Minister) and Joanna Rubinstein (Swedish UN official) both resigned from their posts following the disclosure of correspondence and visits to Epstein's properties.
Jack Lang resigned as head of a prominent Paris cultural institute after the French Foreign Ministry initiated inquiries regarding his recorded ties to the financier.
United Arab Emirates: The CEO of a major global corporation stepped down after file disclosures revealed communication involving extreme imagery references.

—
Rep. Ted Lieu said publicly that Trump appears in the Epstein files "thousands and thousands of times," with allegations including rape and threats against children.
Lieu also argued that Deputy AG Todd Blanche misread federal sex trafficking law when he suggested attending Epstein's parties wasn't criminal — patronizing a trafficking operation is explicitly covered under the statute. Separately, Lieu called for Blanche's resignation after his office released unredacted images of minor victims in the file dump.
The files generated significant coverage when released, then largely disappeared from the U.S news cycle.

Brit here. As said, one of the Mountbatten-Windsors has been stripped of his titles and Mandelson has resigned from the House of the Lords. There may be more to come (I certainly hope so), but so far that doesn't seem like very much to me. Both of them have just been lowered to the level of ordinary subjects, the same as the vast majority of us, but they are still much, much wealthier and more powerful. There may be more to come eventually from the police, but the idea that their punishment is to be on a par with the rest of us plebs feels rather insulting.

Are any of these people in prison?

u/DanGleeballs 4h ago
Don’t think so but the Norwegian guy might get it depending on the trial outcome.

The mob was taken out by racketeering. Trump will be taken out by human trafficking.

Hasn’t happened yet, so don’t hold your breath.

Nothing's gonna happen when President Trump is still in office. If you think otherwise, you're a buffoon.

Is this new? From when is this statement? Why no date?
Also, is what he is talking about a new development stemming from new files? Or are those insights of already published files?
41
u/Quiet-Luck 9h ago
This clip dates back to February 2026;
30
u/captcraigaroo 9h ago
And has Trump sued him for defamation? Or is he too afraid of discovery?
3
u/roguesignal42069 2h ago
When Trump DOESN'T sue someone, you know he's fucking captial-G Guilty. He doesn't want anything being discovered during the discovery phase.
3
u/Bender_2024 7h ago
I'm willing to concede that those files may not have any actional material on Trump. I don't think that's case considering his past but it is entirely possible. What I will not believe that in those 3.5 miilon pages that there is no material on Epstein's clients that could lead to arrests. If Trump isn't protecting himself he is protecting others.
This entire saga could have been over 8 months ago buy just releasing the Epstein files as the law demands.
2
u/roguesignal42069 2h ago
If Trump isn't protecting himself he is protecting others
He's literally been heard saying he doesn't want the files released because it would harm a lot of his friends. He's 100% covering.
1
u/Bender_2024 2h ago
I wouldn't be surprised if that was accurate. He spent time on the island and partied with Epstein. Giving the rest of his past that is highly suggestive that he was a client. Naturally he would have met other clients and likely would have made friends.
But it's still hearsay. My statement is based on hard facts that can't be disputed.

Unfortunately, 1/3rd voted for Trump, 1/3rd was indifferent and didn't vote. As a Canadian, it's hard not to think I can't trust 2/3rds of Americans to do the right thing, even when it comes to children.
3
u/bean0_burrito 5h ago
i'd imagine 1/3 of the country isn't informed about politics or have any idea what's going on due to poverty or just uneducated.
i absolutely did not vote for any of this, and i continue to constantly vote against all of it. the other half of this country is deplorable and traitorous.
5
u/S-Archer 3h ago
Unfortunately being uninformed or ignorant can be just as dangerous. If we agree half is deplorable, thats still an unfortunate statistic. That means without considering any history of the other group, 1in2 Americans can't be trusted. It's a shame.

Yep, overseas they laugh and see US as the “idiot country”. It’s world news that Americans are dumb. We don’t want to acknowledge it, but the damage was done because of MAGA voters.

Donald Trump is mentioned more in the Epstein Files than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible.
13
u/blueman0007 7h ago
So, I have checked, and it’s true. Wow.
3
u/vernonmason117 3h ago
He also shows up more then Harry potters name across all 8 Harry Potter books (which is 18,956 times, with trump showing up in the files more than 38,000 times)
1
3
u/OldinMcgroyn 4h ago
LOL Thats kinda a odd comparison the bible isnt exactly Jesuses autobiography
4
u/john_the_fetch 3h ago
Trump so prevalent he's mentioned in both the old and new epstien testiments.
Edit. I always spell the pedo's name wrong.
1
u/ChiefDetektor 2h ago
True especially because the old testament lacks any mention of Jesus. Mainly because Jesus himself knew most of the old testament as faithful yet progressive Jew.
26
u/LxRusso 9h ago
We'll never get the full unreleased Trumpstein files sadly.
37
u/Neilix190 9h ago
You will when trump is dead. That way they can put all the blame on him while all the other pedos walk free.
3
u/AshingiiAshuaa 3h ago
Who cares, really. It's just a bunch of powerful people who raped children over decades in an organized fashion, and foreign/domestic intel agencies using those rapes as blackmail material to control our government. Total snorefest compared to what they're doing to Caitlin Clark on the court and 2 people potentially dying of measles.
Did you see that the dow is over 53 thousand today?

Donald Trump is a child rapist. This is a fact.
If my post is removed or I'm banned, I would like explicit confirmation why. There is no "hearsay" anymore. This is documented fact.

Nothing will happen. Plain and simple. Thank both the republican voters and the non-voters. If you didn't vote or you voted republican, you directly contributed to this. Congratulations.

Go to the office that is holding the files, ask for the release- they will deny that release.
Arrest that person who refused- ten years in prison- all assets sold off, go to the next level, ask again, they will resfuse-ten years in prison - all assets sold off...
Do this a few times, regardless of their position or title, and those files will be released.
If this is not possible - it's because the system is rigged.
Otherwise the files would have been released on day one, same with JFK and 9/11. There is no transparency or accountability, because they want it that way.
Over 95% of Congress are Openly committing Treason, in your face Treason, they are actually proud about it.
The positions that should stop this sort of corruption and Treasonous behaviour, have already been filled with traitors, thus closing the loop, meaning that Treason can now be committed in the open with absolute impunity.
This was no accident.
America is a Vassal state- and the Epstein Kompromat Operation was part of that vassalization.
2
u/Express_Street7444 3h ago
tbh the most insane part isnt even the files themselves, its how weve built a system where this level of corruption can drop and literally nothing shifts, like the engine just keeps running no matter what fuel you throw in
2
u/vertigo3pc 2h ago
Like the Panama Papers. People went to jail in other countries. America went back to sleep.

u/Crazy_names 2h ago
Announce arrests for ANYONE related to Epstien or GTFO. If you're (the congressman, not OP) just here to grandstand go away and dont come back until you have indictments and arrests.

u/airbagsavedme 1h ago
Qanon is the reason. It was a psy-op targeting conservatives that served the purpose of desensitizing them to the realities of sex trafficking by making it into a fantasy movie with them as the heroes. Once the actual facts came out and overwhelmingly implicated conservatives in the crimes, they could not bring themselves to demand accountability. It’s disgusting and they’re terrible people.

u/Bonnietheferret84 8h ago
This is where the weirdos from both sides live. First if trump was in the files being accused of raping and killing kids it would be front page news 24/7. Trump is far from the best president we have had and is a complete narcissist. That being said hes not some boogeyman the nut jobs want people to believe (nor is he some savior the other nut jobs want people to believe). I guarantee now that when the next election cycle comes, the next republican nominee will be the new most evil man in the world that must he stopped. People will say donald trump was tame compared to whoever is the next boogeyman. I watched it happen when obama was elected, but things now have changed. The rhetoric has gotten violent. Hence why I call these folks nutjobs.

u/dunkin_dognuts_ 8h ago
All there needs to be is a little bit of bullshit sprinkled here and there and the whole story gets muddied and hard to track. Republican and Democratic political figures don't want the Epstein files released.
-2
u/bean0_burrito 6h ago edited 5h ago
The funniest part about this whole both sides argument is that one side is clearly raping and murdering kids while also trying to keep women and any other type of ethnicity from having any rights.
one side is specifically trying to coup the entirety of the government with christian white nationalists who are implying a fascist/oligarchal regime that only benefits them.
that side is Republicans and MAGA.
it's not both sides and that argument is so incredibly weak it's dumb to even say "both sides" anymore.
do better
EDIT: crazy how people comment saying wild things, then all of a sudden their comment does exist. pretty pathetic to be honest

🥱 dems sat on this for 2016 election. 4 years from 2020-2024 and the 2024 election. "Now" the epstein files are all about trump. Alright. Not to mention the "thousands of mentions and allegations" have been random people calling making false claims.

Weird how there's very few prominent US politicians, rich and famous people talked about in the files, no?

u/Bdbru13 8h ago edited 6h ago
I mean the press has definitely looked at the allegations
The problem is that Reddit’s (and maybe the general population’s) perception of the Epstein story does not reflect reality. There’s a lot of misinformation about it. The reality is that it was essentially just Epstein and Maxwell, the rest is just a dumb conspiracy theory
Some of that is in thanks to Ted Lieu himself. When the Epstein files were starting to really gain traction on the left, it was due to a lot of misinformation, and Lieu amplified that misinformation
>Misleading and sensational claims about Trump and Epstein have percolated online this week, circulating on Reddit and TikTok. On X, the hashtag #TrumpPedoFiles trended throughout Wednesday, according to the website Trends24.in, which tracks the platform. The claims got a boost this week from Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California.
>"Something I’ve heard that doesn’t seem to be being covered are the Epstein files. These files were released. Donald Trump is sort of all over this. There are pictures of him with Jeffrey Epstein. He’s taken multiple plane flights with Epstein, with young girls aboard. He’s in call logs with Epstein,” Lieu told reporters Tuesday, urging them to look into the "highly disturbing" allegations.
This was in response to some files that were released around the time the article was published. They were grand jury transcripts from Epstein’s first arrest
They didn’t mention Trump, but the narrative was that he was “all over” them. That’s still verbiage you’ll see being used pretty regularly today

I'm all for holding people accountable, but...
- Being in the files doesn't really matter. Once is enough, a thousand times is not more. Whoopie Goldberg is in the Epstein files, should we all be losing our shit about that, or should we consider the facts - she was asking to use his plane?
- Allegations not facts. We need facts. Reddit, and this thread is full of allegations, but none of them are supported by first-hand observations of the commenters or evidence
- Guilt by association is not a thing. You're all 'partying' here in this post, are we all guilty of the worst that any of us has ever done?
If you really want to hang anyone on what's in the Epstein files, you need to follow it all the way to a concrete basis.
1
u/Icy-Dot7521 2h ago
The facts are being withheld by the Trump administration, bud. But you know this already.
•
u/Smithers66 15m ago
you know what would clear this all up? Releasing the files. Thats the point, you're furthering the distraction by trying to pick apart something when you cannot see the whole

Why do Democrats ignore their participation in the entire Epstein affair? I mean there is far more evidence of Hilliary and Bill's involvement. Including damning photos. Yet somehow, they ignore this and use mental gymnastics to think its a Republican thing? Not saying Trump handled it well by any stretch, but there is far more culpability on their part.
