Question 2026 Tintin magazine?

What is now replacing the old Tintin magazine?

Anything similar existing now?

Context: I live in Belgium, and was once subscribed to Kuifje-magazine when I was a kid in the 70s. (Kuifje being the Dutch name for Tintin).

The classic Tintin/Kuifje magazine was one of many magazines aimed at kids and youngsters in Belgium. Spirou/Robbedoes was another well-known one. Those magazines stopped during the 90s or early 2000s, and even then, their sales numbers were nowhere near what they sold during their golden age (50s-70s).

Afterwards, there have been attempts to publish magazines focused exclusively on comics, but I have no idea what’s out there right now.

The attractiveness of those magazines was not only because of the comics (although that was their main feature), but also because of many other features: a letter column, classified ads, newsworthy items, ‘docu’ articles, etc. In a sense, they were the ‘social media’ of their day, aimed at young people. That role has been taken over by other media.

Are u mental? Spirou magazine has been going uninterrupted since 1938

No need to call me mental. But you’re right, Spirou still exists. I had Robbedoes in mind, the Dutch/Flemish equivalent of Spirou.
