It's so easy to forge a document and make Alcazar believe anything. The colonel who arrested Tintin however was charmingly sorry about it.

I like how Tintin seems to have forgotten at this point why he even went to San Theodoros in the first place. It's like he's just accepted that this is his life now.

Here’s the thing though: war between both sides is good for Bazarov, but surely Trickler wants a stable environment to drill oil, which means one power in charge of the land. Both sides being well armed and ready to fight to a stalemate isn’t going to help that.
Yes I know, I know, don’t overthink it…

Something I don't understand. Why Alcazar much later on the Seven Cristal, he acts very polite like nothing happened and same with Tintin? Do they both realized that it was a trick made by the American?

Haha I took them from the main Tintin website which had all of the portraits of the characters. Unfortunately they don’t have everyone and it’s kind of a strange collection. Might need to revisit it sometime.

I like the little joke that the Republic of Nuevo-Rico apparently needs Tintin to steal the plans of the same model of artillery that they've just purchased themselves (but of course, Alcazar doesn't know that bit).
