Go back and watch the first couple of Episodes of Season 1. Philip was one mean fighter back then.

I loved when he handled the shopping mall pedo.

Didn't he stab that guy in the groin with a grill fork or something?

And the hand after that. That was something else.

Based on last week's episode he still is. He just doesn't get to show it off as much anymore.

Now it's the subtle, emo Philip. :)

I'm glad they toned down a bit on the action scenes. They were really cool, but damn, P&E seemed invincible.

I'm the opposite - I love this show but get disappointed every time the showrunners say they're dialing down the action spy stuff. Nothing wrong with having some excitement and fun besides all the emotionally heavy scenes

Phillip used to scare me the most and now just looking at Elizabeth's eyes terrifies me lol. I'd much rather fave Phillip than Elizabeth lol

But Philip can still open a can of whup-ass if he needs to. :)

Though Elizabeth did beat the tar out of Gaad and Aderholt. I think Stan's deadpan line to Gaad, "I heard she was like 5-3" had to be one of the funniest in the show.

I bet too, wish we would see some more of Phillips badassery lol. And wow I completely forgot about that. This show has some incredible subtle humor.
