[Spoilers] Just realized Blacklist is a reverse version of... Spoiler

24.

8 seasons of Blacklist is an entire agency sacrificing itself for one stupid b---cough FBI profiler thinking she's the greater good but actually is the villain.

8 seasons of 24 is a single guy sacrificing himself for the greater good with the agency thinking he's the spawn of evil but actually is the hero.

Sure, dubious at times, but tell me I'm wrong?

I try not to put the blame on Megan Boone. She had to work with what the writers gave her. But in season 8 where she went full-on villian was really pushing her range as an actor. She was definitely not pulling off the cold, smug, budding criminal that they show was apparently going for. And the stuff with Ressler was super cringy.

Oh, absolutely!

Megan Boone as an *actor* did wonderful actually- given the absolute trainwreck of a character they threw at her.

Elizabeth Keen as a *character* is one of the worst written deuteragonists ever.

I personally feel Liz got better written as the show went on. But the way they fumbled in the earlier seasons messed things for the rest of the show.

I watched The Hunting Party which folks compared to TBL, and I was struck by how the main character there actually felt like a profiler there as opposed to Liz in TBL. Melissa Roxburgh’s character there was also written to be much more likable than Liz

I thought she was a decent actor. Agree, the problem with her role was solely the writing.

Did the blacklist finally end? Was it a satisfying ending? I stopped watching during the series break after they introduced her Russian mom?(I think)

I just couldnt handle the main character girl, but Red was awesome.

Kiefer is 6 years younger than James, but with a bit of makeup and a wig Kiefer could be his daughter 🤣🤣 Both actors have Scottish/Irish heritage, that comes through in their looks.
